Advice for shipt drivers, make sure you dont take too many routes at a time if your car isnt big enough. Theyll slam you with large to giant boxes even when i put my car as a two door because if you drop too many packages, shipt can count it against which leads to deactivation. ALSO, if you were unable to deliver some packages for certain reasons (like unable to access apartments, or cant find address) then take pictures of the stickers and call support after you finish your route so they wont mark it against you since returns can count as a ding. I got deactivated for good since i made these mistakes, im tell this so you guys wont repeat my mistake because i dont want the same happens to others.

Hello, I have signed up for shipt delivery. But the app is showing me only grocery delivery. Why am i not able to see package delivery in app. Do i have to do anything else to get package delivery. Please help

I suggest you email Shipt. They'll get your app switched over to the package delivery version.

It’s honestly worth it. Especially when they have promo pay. I made $80 is 2 hours with one of the routes that I’ve done so far. Obviously I know every route isn’t going to be like that, that’s why on my next day off I’m gonna try a full day to see how much I can make.

Dude, I just did my first run. It was swell. $60 for 2.5 hours around my home. I had to drive across town but in Mpls there are plans for 5 more distro centers. This is a good time to get in.

I start my first route this Monday. Denver Market.

My only question is how are you able to pick up multiple routes in a day? For example the earliest shift might be 10:45 or 11am in my area and the Last shift being 1:45-2pm after that there are no more shifts usually. Even if I pick up a couple shifts how I saw you did in the beginning of the video. Your arrival time for the second shift would have been 1:45-2pm and you’ll probably would’ve been long gone delivering the other packages. Your car was full so no way were you able to include a second shift in your car

it messed up the starter in my jeep, but jeeps are pretty shitty vehicles to begin with on electrical issues. Never had a problem with any other vehicle though.

I use the Minneapolis sortation Center I don’t understand how you have time to put the packages in order. I have a minivan so I only do large orders and they’re sortation Center doesn’t even give you enough time to scan your packages and put them in your car much less put them in any kind of order

Just got the shipt payment card today, so I’m ready to go hustle but my app says ‘background check pending’ even though Checkr finished my background check 8 days ago..Their live chat is absolutely broken, “terribly sorry, let me look into this” then 4 minutes later the chat expires. Even if Maryland joins this I will stick with the groceries. I can see these packages using way to much gas and mileage for the same money I can drive 2 miles for groceries and no more than 5 miles that leaves me at a Hot Spot to pick up another delivery on the hour.

take 11 hours to deliver, and should last 3 hours. as I know which is the first delivery in the list from bottom to top or from top to bottom. I mean when I'm ready to go to distribute how do I know who is the first on the list?

How many packages per route on average and how long does it take you to finish a route? Not all routes are created equally but of your route how many are apartments especially apartments with no parking and need a gate code. Of these apartments, can you leave them in the leasing office or do you need to take them to the door?

You have to contact the leasing office and customer(if possible) at least twice, if you cant get in the apartment, mark it as undeliverable, return it then contact support so they wont mark it against you. Also you it depends, some routes are 15 boxes while some can be 25,35, even 50 sometimes but bright side is you can see the route before claiming an order.

When you are working Shipt Delivery and have to deliver to an apartment, do you have to buzz the door, just drop off inside the building or does the resident leave instructions?

I just started in the Houston market. None of my drop offs had gate codes and I have no way to make contact with the customer. I had to just wait and follow another car entering the gate. This slows me down.
