Awww... I'm going to miss your apartment. I remember you and your mom worked so hard getting the new floors down in the kitchen. And then you made it your own with your thrift finds. You made such a cozy little place. I'm also going to remember all the cozy nights you had with Luna. She was always chewing on something lol. Oh that big box of gifts was so thoughtful and everything was just perfect for you. I’ll miss seeing your old apartment, it looked so different all painted white and empty. I’m glad you didn’t have anything to pay for wear and tear or damages, a great weight has been lifted off your shoulders so now you can focus more of your energies on the new house. Elise you left that apartment spotlessly clean. I can’t imagine that the landlord would dare to try and make you pay for anything. Especially since you filmed the way you left it- in mint condition. Here in Canada the judge would take one look at your moving out videos, your cleaning and repainting and this last video and laugh the landlord out of court. For some strange reason, I just KNEW he was going to mention your old 'dreads.' Creepy. In the US, it is now really common that people will cancel on you at the last minute. Before Covid it was NOT that way. What a disappointment, but you got it cleaned up perfectly! I know you had a lot of frustrations living in that building, but in looking at the views and that location, it really was a very special apartment. I'm glad you are on to something new and with absolutely beautiful potential. The floor that is completed is gorgeous! You are so much like me or I am like you. It was so hard saying goodbye to my house when I had to sell it. My mom passed and I decided to keep her house where I grew up. I also said goodbye to my house and had to be there a few minutes alone, so many memories and so many years. You are very beautiful and I can understand that man hitting on you. I’m just glad you are out as I know you are and you should treat yourself in some way after going through that. I am a worrier too so I understand how you feel.

It seems to me one thing you may find worthwhile investing in yourself, rather than the owner, is custom shelves and cabinets for your walk-in closet. Make it your own, and with that amazing light you can pose for gorgeous photos in there, with the shrubs in the background or even in front of your vanity. Room for a big plant or two and all the mirrors you could ever want. Thrilling!
