For the ALR tech and tab-tension I feel it's justified even though it's a high price.

What was the reasoning behind going with the LG rather than the Formovie which is right now, considered the best of all the UST projectors? Also, it's less expensive, and can display an image up to 150 inches, where the LG is only 120 inches.

The Formovie is a great projector, but I'm showcasing a screen that could potentially cost the same amount, which would go over some viewer's scope of thinking. The purpose of the video was to showcase how no matter what you spend on a projector, the money is wasted until you pair it with a proper screen.

The truth is that no screen will make a projector look good with the lights on. If you must watch in a bright room you are far better off with a 100" tv. They're about the same price as an entry level home theater projector and a mid-level "ALR" screen but with 10x the quality. I have tested most of the premium ALR screens. They're OK in a dim room with a side light on and a 2500 lumen+ projector at no more than 110". Don't be fooled by the "it blocks all the ceiling light" sales pitch. Light bounces off every surface and comes from every direction. Blacks will look gray and washed out. These cingrey 3d screens have the saving grace of being cheap so you won't waste $5,000 thinking your 135" screen will actually work like a living room tv during the day with a $1500 lumen HT projector. Most of these KZbin videos are no better than infomercials. They're extremely deceptive. I.e. massively exaggerated performance.
