So this is just 3 letter agencies congratulating themselves?! This is a horrific event however I’m certain tons of other people, particularly of color, go missing and are murdered in Memphis almost daily. What about those people? They don’t get the full force of ALL these agencies do they? Memphis is a pit of crime but these people are using the opportunity to showboat and prop themselves up. Why don’t they talk about the system that let the alleged murderer out before serving his full sentence for a similar crime? Talk about the system in Memphis that is broken which allows these crimes to happen. I’m sorry for Eliza’s family and every other family whose loved one was murdered and never found. They all should matter the same as this one.

Why did the District AG near the end comment on the case by saying "This was a random act of violence by a stranger"? Was that not inappropriate and downright illegal to comment on an ongoing investigation? That seemed coerced like he was told and felt compelled to say that.

My Thoughts, Love and Prayers go out to Eliza Fletcher's family. Its sad when a young woman can get abducted on a college campus and no campus police are around to save this lady. What the media has not released is that the suspect abducted a lawyer on Beale Street (The economic Hub for Memphis) in the year 2000 and drove him around in the trunk of his car for hours. The suspect should have never been given early release from prison. The state of TN owes an explonation to this lady's family. This is a sad sad day for not only Memphis but the entire Country. You got to ask why Memphis is so violent....It starts at home with the parents.

Something similar also happened to me that’s why I quit walking alone. I chose to go walking one night on the beach (ocean) late (the beach was not busy due to a recent hurricane flooding)to relieve stress. My job actual booked the employees rooms so we would be able to get to work. And as I was walking I noticed an African American man following me for a good distance. Mind you I’m African American also! Something kept telling me a small voice “He’s following you” so as I walked I began inching up more towards the hotels off the shore. So I’m thinking this man is following me whenever I get a break I’m gonna take it. SCARED!!! So as I walked along as I inched up I noticed a dark alley near a hotel. I took off running fast as I could don’t yu know this man took off running behind me. I ran up the alley and banged on the glass door and the hotel receptionist ran to the door let me in and locked it behind us. This man ran all the way up to the door and stated he was following me to make sure I got where I was going safe! Than he took off running Smh!!!! The monster likely kiIIed Eliza in that 4 min period after it realized she wasn’t going to stop fighting. A life was ended, children w/o a mother, husband w/o his wife, and parents w/o their daughter. And the monster was caught and caged w/in one day. Now the monster will be caged for the rest of its life. All for 4 mins of a sick thriII. At least I hope it happened right away. Rest in peace, Eliza. 💔

We have seen some wretched and depraved crimes over these passed few years involving every ethnicity on earth yet the cases involving black males draws out vitriol against the black population by every bigot in the country. Interesting to see this much hate from people who's hearts are probably blacker than the heart of the vile creature who brutalized that innocent woman. Satan has millions of inconspicuous blood thirsty minions among us of all ethnicities and that's not counting the criminal element..

May those officials that allowed this monster early release ponder the gravity of what they have done in putting this perpetrator out in society. May they keep in mind that their actions have taken a mother from her children in their formative years, a young wife from her husband and an angel of a teacher who was nothing short of a beacon of light from the world! She died at the hands of this monster but it was the officials that allowed for his early release who contributed to her sad demise. Don't know how any of them can live with themselves for doing this! May God have Mercy on your souls!😥😥😥

As a Black woman, I pay attention to the outrage for Whyte women compared to Black women. This type of stuff happen to Black women far more often and is way more common for us. Yet nobody seems to care. But when it is a woman of no color, the news gets spread globally and the world must stop and help look for them. This is quite pathetic and Black women remember, we only have us and so we must do for us only!

These people really think they have the right to take lives for their gain.Im SMH at this horrible act.People can be so wicked. We need to turn back to God whatever your faith as long as it's positive. I say this because religion is positive in encouraging treating each other right.Living our best.We used to get onto who's region was right or wrong .But I'm sure all can agree that most religions I've hears about in my 53 years all speak of kindness to each other. So this is why I long ago just stopped judging. I was and still am Baptist but have learned about the other denominations of Christians.I believe the God that made us all wouldn't stop with just one religion or way to honor him.just my opinion. He gives us this also so don't come for me for my opinion please.God Bless all who read this.

This " Chief of Police " should first start out with apologizing to all the Citizens of Tennessee, for the leftist leadership that permits violent criminals to run the streets and protecting these criminals because they are of the ' protected group ' ! Further apologize for knowing this , and enplane that many many other criminals are running these very same streets today in every large city in America and that the violence will get worse as long as democrats control the levers of power and continue to look away from the truth !
