Oh girllll...i just have to chime in and say you've got to try pure african shea butter and using it to moisturize your skin. I take the extra step of whipping it in my stand mixer. It will not clog your pores, and yet is the most moisturizing product you will ever find. It is completely safe for adults, kids, and even pets.🙂 Love your videos, I'm a baby stylist in Cos school, and this video in particular is so helpful!❤️

@AndreaOnhec it's my only option where I live, and I've been doing my hair myself for years. I would prefer to pay a professional to do it tbh, but there are no half-decent salons where I live. The salons in my town have literally been on that show Tabatha's salon takeover. 😂😂 The only one that wasn't... well, I went there once, and an older male stylist made me go into a private bathroom and change into an outfit he gave me before he would start my hair!?! Girl, I have stories. 😭😭 Have you heard of food deserts? I live in a salon desert. 😂

I don't think this works for everyone though. First, everyone pulls gold in different ways. Putting a toner just on the base is too hard to do yourself, and eventually wears off, leaving you back at square 1. The best and healthiest thing to do for your hair is to just put in thin highlights where it looks like the sun kissed you. Leave the rest of your hair alone! Also, highlights should be only 2-3 shades lighter than your natural, to give a natural look❤️

I have to color my hair at home because I cant afford a salon. I was doing box color level 7A at my roots to hide grey, nice for a week or two, but eventually it would always turn orange. After doing my roots for a year, my whole head was orange. So, I thought covering with a redken shades eq all over gloss one shade darker would turn it a beautiful medium brown. I looked at all the photos online who use 6NB and then did it and guess what, Yes I have dark red hair. A blue red hair all over. All it does is show my dark circles under my eyes and makes me look older and mean. Great. I thought NB meant neutral brown. No, it is a dark copper blue cowboy red color. Ugh. I am fairer than you and have light blue eyes and now blue red hair. I look like Ronald McDonald!
