YES! As a person who works with cardiac patients, I am so happy. Nothing is more painful than congenital heart defects. Not every surgeon can do these surgeries and some are very complicated. Money is another issue, and it is so painful to see parents with their new born baby, having no access to save their child's life. I've seen far too many and it is always a fresh wound with every new angel

This is so beautiful and makes me so happy. My nephew was a heart kid and went through 3 open heart surgeries before passing away at 19 weeks old. As sad as it is that Jimmy had to go through this pain with his beautiful child and as much as I wish that he was born healthy, I am relieved to know that Ellen and Jimmy have spread so much awareness and support for the cause. I love you Ellen and Jimmy. Thank you for being amazing!

I'm glad everything turned out great. I suffer from heart disease, have been through 3 operations and almost in my 40s now have 8 stents in the heart. I wish this to no one because the symptoms just scare you to death, living in constant fear that something might happen at any given time. I still have to take at least 8 different types of medicine every single day. Everyone please take good care and stay healthy. I don't want others to go what I've been through and struggle to this day. Stents are very expensive, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my family, this taught me a lesson and now I do my best to save money just in case. Hope anyone struggling with health issues do the same and for the ones able to help the next please do, I'm sure you'll get it back in some form. God bless all of us, I ask only for health so I can work and live a humble life. Be grateful.

Even though we pray to God asking for a truckload of things, the only two things any of us can really ask from God is "Health", and then whenever it imminently arrives, as it arrives all the same even to the best of us ---- a quick, painless "Death" that does not make us suffer for a long time by having us in need of constant physical assistance from others. My girl friend's baby had problems with her heart...I think we should put a JIMMY (BILLY) KIMMEL room in EVERY children's heart hospital across the US, so we know these children and their families get the help they need. With both your help, I would love to put this together. Every child deserves to have some one to make sure they get the RIGHT HEART to start their life. The BILLY KIMMEL HEART ROOM in every hospital would be a wonderful gift.
