You have been the single most influential factor in my soapmaking business, and I know my success is due to your KZbin videos. BTW, I just made black raspberry and vanilla two days ago. What a coincidence. I ordered a color called eggplant from my soap supplier here in Ontario Canada, and was excited to use it in the soap for one of the swirls. But I forgot to read the fine print and didn’t realize that in cold process soap it morphed into a dark gray. I also had a violet swirl in the same batch, and made the main batter white with TD. All in all it actually still looks beautiful, but it would be more over-the-top if the true eggplant colour had stayed. I’m always learning! Thank you so much for being a part of all your follower’s lives. Looking forward to more KZbin videos from you. God bless.❤

New soaper here, I just want to say that I have learned so much from watching your videos - I just love watching them! I made - what I am calling Lemon Poppy Bar. It has poppy seeds all through it, lemon scent, and a beautiful lattice top (Learned how to do that watching your beautiful "Minimalist" loaf of soap. Of course mine doesn't have all the lux oils that you put in that one, but believe me, I will be making it! But I was over the moon when my lattice top turned out. My husband thought I was crazy when I lifted the lid off my little loaf and said, "look - look - isn't it beautiful!" I just am making soap for my family, but what fun!

I don't blame you. I closed my shop down last year. This year we will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary and I felt we needed more us time. I still do a very scaled down business and a wholesale account because I am a rue soaper at heart! My hubby developed a health issue, year before last and it made sense to scale back and spend more time with him. Glad I scaled back. I have been using powdered creams in every soap I make, since 2017 and you are right and very creamy, sudsy, luxurious soap. I wish a smooth transition for you, and your husbands health improves. That's a good question, and one I need to talk about more in an upcoming video. I do a really steep water discount, so typically I don't get rivers, but it is a possibility..

I do a steep discount as well, but wondered how this would work....maybe worth trying as I usually stick blend my micas in, but that can often make the batter go faster than I would like. I used to disperse in oil, but those colors would get oilier than the soap. @@EllenRuthSoap
