@Zack Smith LOL you think Fireflies can develop vaccine by sacrifice Ellie. look at covid-19 every Medical Institute say they need a year to develop the vaccine and you think one surgeon in a deteriorated hospital have capability to develop the vaccine!!! Even if that miracle happened, the doctor successfully make vaccine. how you going to massproduct vaccine, in a deteriorated hospital with 15 years old medical equipment and Expired medicine supplies yeah good luck with that.

@thewonderofu6274 жыл бұрын
Considering the fact that the infection is known to mutate and Evolve I highly doubt a cure could actually work on top of that could the fire flys cure actually work on a cure there base of operation is a run down hospital and there Equipment is most likely not state of the art also how would they deliver the cure humanity is divided into different Factions scattered arcoss the world and the Military were at war at one point and most likely still are with the fire flys chances of the fire flys making a cure is unlikely

@tjjordan4207 Жыл бұрын
What gets on my nerves is that Joel never brings up that the Fireflies never thought to give her a choice. Not to mention the very low possibility of it working or that if they had succeeded, they would have kept the vaccine for themselves in an attempt to control everyone. The Fireflies were ruled by a council, and it wouldn't have mattered what Marlene or Abby's father would have said about doing it for the greater good, they were lower in the chain of command.
@bongobutsforlife2953 Жыл бұрын
It's more about how Elilies guilt for not atleast giving the world a chance at getting rid of the infection and that all of the fireflies died for her to live. You can tell just by how she reacts to it all that she probably would've said yes to the operation regardless.

Dawg people are complaining about how they changed Ellie and Joel and I can kinda agree but at the same time you have to understand how much time they’ve been in peace now.
@greenpeace4246 Жыл бұрын
I don’t understand why Ellie was so angry about Joel. After all he did what he had to do to save her life even though he did that out of selfishness. She should be the last person who feels upset over it. Is it really that hard to understand why Joel who develops into a father figure would choose the life of his “own daughter” over the whole world? After all these years and everything they both had been through together, you would have thought that Ellie would have more understanding of Joel’s feeling toward her. I hate the fact that Ellie just walked away and was willing to throw away their relationship just because he loved her “too much”. In addition, if Ellie felt upset because Joel makes her feel guilt trip about failure to become the world savior she meant to be, then i have to ask if she cares so much about humanity then why she never feels empathetic towards other people’s lives in the story? She kills a lot of people wether it’s for anger or survival. Her constant behaviors have not been consistent towards her feelings here. Therefore, i don’t buy the fact she’s upset because Joel chose her life over humanitarianism. Her anguish seems very ridiculous to me.

It's a video game where zombies exist and one man can take out a 10 man group by themselves, "more real" has no place in this game. Plus if we're going with "real" the game should've ended in the first one. Ellie would've died by the plenty of people that tried to kill her and so would joe. The first game relies on "less real" than anything else.
@ORION001194 жыл бұрын
If it was "more realistic" abby would be dead
@joseluisariasabed68944 жыл бұрын
Ok Guys, this is ok in fact. Joel's lie would bring consequences sooner or later, we all knew that. If only they had continued with this story line and perhaps a situation where Joel had to sacrifice his life for Ellie and that at the last moment they could tell each other what they feel, that they could say goodbye, they deserved it, we deserved it God damn it, maybe Joel in his last words sees Ellie in the eyes: Go kiddo, go and save them, save them all, It's your destiny. And after continuing with the subject of the vaccine now at the hands of Ellie, I don't know, I'm not a writer, but they could take many different paths but they chose the most infamous and disrespectful for the characters and the fans. It's terrible what they did to the franchise.
@SaviHow4 жыл бұрын
Honestly though, why the fuck did they have to make a sequel? It's so hard to believe that this shit is made by the same team who made the first one. The emotional moments in the first one were so great because there were genuine bonds with believable characters and believable conflicts. Meanwhile this one just drops everything for shock value. It's really easy to tell the difference between games/movies made years ago vs games/movies made recently. Everything is so fucking attention grabby now, while trying to maintain a "Oh gosh sorry I hope I don't offend anyone :D" look. I really hate that shit.
