Got real pairs for now, but when I was a teenager, my parents would always buy me reps because they cost about 1/4 of the real thing. Never knew if they were as good as the real thing but I rocked them with pride nonetheless. I also don't say they're legit pairs, but people seldom ask that. Fast forward to today, I'm new to the sneaker culture and I have not bought any reps... YET. Yeah, I'm planning on getting reps for Travis lows(all of the colorways) because I ain't paying 3-10x the retail price for them. I've bought a few resell-priced pairs but I shudder at the thought of getting a Travis Scott collab at a resell price. It's just not worth it. If ever I do get reps for the Travis collabs, I'll never pass them off as legit ones if ever someone actually cared to ask. But ain't no way someone random is just gonna walk up to you in public and ask if what you have on your feet is legit or not. As for the video, it looks like Nike's doing their due diligence. This might just be a couple of the first ones to be done by them and I expect them to do a lot more. I followed Cedaz due to his crazy stints(like returning the fake Nike's) but I never really got into his Discord or even thought of getting from Pandabuy. It just looks so complicated that it's not worth the effort. I'd rather hit up a rep shop(we have a lot of those here in the Philippines) and get some high-quality reps for ALMOST retail price. Yeah, reps here are almost the same as retail if they're hype pairs. For example, the TS J1 Fragment lows going for 120-150USD, but I'd rather pay that, than pay more than 1500 $ in the resell market.

@@SouthJerseyBaitReviews creating demand for a product is just a part of business... meeting demand is another. id agree if this were where numbered collectible items but this are mass made products at factories. creating limited amounts of products doesn't net Nike a higher margin in sales, it limits it. the brand is already stablished and has its following already stablished. if you think doubling or tripling the numbers of something like the Chicago 1s would lower the item's value on people's eye, then you're delusional. the item is not valuable cause it's limited, the item is valuable for the story behind it. and it would continue to sell regardless the amount of stock outputted. why complain about people buying reps if you aren't meeting demands. that's why they exist and that's why people buy em. imagine if apple just made 1m iPhones and people couldn't get anymore for the entirety of the product's lifespan "just because hype"... that be a huge business...!!!!

Rep market exists because of them. If they really want to stop it then they should look at what people like about reps. Main draw appears to be 1) affordability - It's cheaper to buy reps 2) availability - so many of my friends get sad about not hitting on SNKRS on a shoe they really wanted 3) quality - yes! It's a damn shame but often times; if you go with a good batch, the quality can be better than Nike themselves produces. Nike in general and Jordan brand is becoming crap cheep stuff for premium price. From 10 sneakers 9 of them have flaws and looks like sneakers from best buy.Even limited edition sneakers are like that.Thats why after 5 years of collecting sneakers i stop buying Nike products.I am not gona support this crap quality control and this crap low quality sneakers with premium prices. There is waaaay better brands to support.

To be honest, im glad they sued him for all his actions. Promoting and selling fakes is one but recording yourself commiting a crime and posting it on youtube? You really need to be a top tier idiot to do that

People buy reps because apps like SNKRS is rigged. Idk about you but I’m 0-45 on SNKRS drops. But returning fake shoes is wild

many people in the comments have not understood the sneaker game. Stop making look Toyotas as Ferraris. " toyota could be good but not emulating other"

Reps exist because these shoes are way to expensive, Nike limits stock and many other factors. I honestly think that if Nike just kept the shoes in stock we wouldnt have this issue
