I agree that a car can be too fast, because I have to keep my Tesla on Chill mode to keep from giving myself motion sickness. This is a really awesome video, Elliott! I would hate my water bottles interfering with my shifting gears.

This is probably my favorite video yet, and I’ve loved all of them so far. Drove a Makeshift Hellcat (ScatPack w Procharger) with JR a few years back and was in love with it. Would love to have a Hellcat Charger someday.

A.J. W. Thanks dude! Yes, a Hellcat Charger would be the ultimate family-hauler sedan, you need one!

I work at a Dodge dealer and Hellcat's are always a fun time to drive. They scare me though because they're so fast. I've taken a liking to the 392's because they sound awesome and they don't have as much speed so you can use it more.
@ElliottAlvis4 жыл бұрын
Michael Cardone that’s a good assessment of the difference between those two cars Michael! Thanks for watching.

I rented a R/T with the stock hemi at 400+ HP and had a blast the week I was out working driving it every day. She would pull a 100 mph like she would at 55. I was truly impress and had so much fun. Remember I'm the guy that had a 66 Impala with a 396/325 built up for semi aggressive performance, shift kit equipped early Turbo 400 3 speed auto and positrac. I know what performance is and this car will deliver every time

Hey Elliott, yes, the Hellcat IS an awesome vehicle!!! I got to drive one at the dealers, it was an automatic but still very fast, plenty of power for the teenage me & plenty of creature comforts for old fart me!! Thanks for sharing another fun video!!! ☺

This car on paper? Utter perfection. The look. The sound. The power. The performance. It absolutely checks every box I could have...... But the idea of buying an FCA product? HARD PASS.

I have a 14 300c and even it is relatively loud with the eagle hemi. The occasional tick on start up is annoying. The Leather seats are hard. And then the short overdrive means I’m turning 2000 going down I-76. But it’s far superior mechanically to the Town Car it replaced.

Yeah those cup holders aren’t my favorite either. Kinda reminds me of the one I had in my old Saab. It was right underneath the center consul so when your coffee spills it can get inside the ignition lock cylinder as well as the window control panel and cause all kinds of problems. Lol one time my dad inadvertently forgot to remove the gas pump after he finished pumping gas in the car and drove off with the pump in the car. When he realized that was what he did he immediately slammed on the brakes and his coffee which was in that cup holder spilled all over the passenger side carpet and left a nasty stain which despite many attempts on my end I could just never manage to get rid of completely.
@ElliottAlvis4 жыл бұрын
Michael Sackstein oh boy! That sounds like a real situation!

Does it ever feel like is was too much power for a row your own? Just curious as the power comes on so fast as I understand it and you have the steering wheel and shifter to contend with at basically the same time.

(Sent here by a recommendation from Hoovie's Garage.) Small picking of nits: 5:40 "six gears, none of which are an overdrive". Actually, 4th is straight through, and 5th/6th are both overdrives. This would be apparent if you grabbed 5th gear 2/3 of the way down the main straight of Big Willow, at Willow Springs, and then observed how almost useless the action to be. Ask Me How I Know. By the way, nice personalized plate...

- Aren't you driving a bit close to the wheel? You're not that old yet... - I bet you get almost as much attention as in the Prius! - Suuuper annoying the cup holder situation! - Love that it's fast, but also hate it? hhmmmm.... - Oh yes, pet fur. Just one more reason for me to hate pets. And people.
