This soap is an absolute delight. I had been wanting to make another hot process (HP) soap video for some time, and had received some requests to share a carrot and turmeric soap recipe, so I thought I'd combine the two and share this simple fluid hot process soap recipe with fresh pureed carrots, turmeric, homemade soy yoghurt and lemongrass essential oil for fragrance. I hope you enjoy the video, and let me know what you think in the comments!

Recipe details
540g olive oil (60%)
270g sustainably harvested palm oil (30%)
90g coconut oil (10%)
185g water (Half ice. I used rainwater from my house tank for this soap, just to try it out. Any drinking quality water is fine)
123g sodium hydroxide
120g carrot puree
1/3 teaspoon turmeric
60ml / ¼ cup yoghurt of any kind
27g lemongrass essential oil (3% of total base oils)
This recipe uses 900g total oil batch, has 5% superfat calculated into the recipe (effectively a lye discount) and the total liquid to lye ratio is approximately 2.5 - 3 : 1 (liquid : lye).
