It will be hard to get one because enough of them won't be made by the millions, and you'll have to be on a waiting list for who knows how long. Buyers want a car to be available within days or weeks and not years. But then again, you could be one of the lucky ones to get one at $20K within a few days or weeks in 2025. Most likely, if the Model Q is a really good car, holding out until 2026 might be better anyway, as there will be better battery technologies by then.

Tesla usually prices their vehicles net of any tax credits available, so is that the case on the model Q? Example Tesla website quotes the Model 3 at $30k but in the small print it says that the $7500 tax credit has been deducted so the real price is 37.5k.
