It‘s the same with this basilisk thing. Totally flawed logic. But society has elevated these tech guys to such a genius status that they think they are in fact geniuses, when they are actually just regular people, with the same logic deficiencies.

Midlife crisis number what? There's no telling! Eternally repetitive, such characters incapability to relinquish themselves to the inevitable fosters only more false hope for those injured and abused through international conflicts and varied shenanigans. Many offer themselves up to experimentation for imagined "gifts" intended only for the psychopaths.
