well tonnes better than Jay who I found hard to enjoy due to his sloppy playing. But Joey was great at orchestrating and writing drum parts. Excited to see what Eloy can write on the new album (unless Shawn writes the drum parts for him which he has done before on the last couple of albums)

Agreed, no flack to throw at ya. Jay does justice for Joey's original parts, but he takes it to another level - several levels up. He's exactly what Slipknot needs. Jay was and is a great drummer, but he was not the right fit for Slipknot. Eloy 1000% is. 🤘

Yes, Eloy is amazing and probably one of the best fits due to the circumstances, but no one will EVER replace Joey. I'm sure Eloy would agree.
