Elton was so young here. For a man of that young age of 25-yrs at that time - he was so articulate & witty at answering the questions spot on. No wonder he achieved so many success in the music industry - A genius not only in his music but in his manner of speaking as well... To my fave singer - Sir Elton John - Thank you for the music Iv'e been listening since the 1980's.

@@rainamoonastrology14 You have to love and support yourself in the music industry because others are going to eat you up every day. He's an Aries... he likes the attention, fame and drama in the career. There's nothing wrong with that, especially because once he feels loved and appreciated, he is extremely generous with his time, love and attention with others. But only when his needs are met. Other fire signs like Leo are the same way. But he is worth the hype, the attention and drama. He has proven to be beyond talented, worthy of love, and EXTREMELY charitable. I should know, I have a personal letter from him in 2018 when I tried to commit suicide. He told me in there, "Miracles happen and you are living proof." I'm finally getting it tattooed on me this week. But anyway my point is... he's got it together at such a young age because he was made for this career path and he knows it. He dedicates all his life and time into music... listening to it, making it, reviewing it, writing about it, buying it, selling it, etc. He was blessed to be set in the career of his dreams so early on and he wanted to make all the right steps and career moves to prolong his dreams... things anybody would do in the career path they choose. He takes it seriously, even when he tragically got into drugs. But at the end of the day only his music survived when he was doing drugs because he was that invested into it. You have no choice but to speak articulately when you're so invested into something that you aim to learn and expand on. It's called EDUCATION. Any normal functioning human being will educate themselves to expand and grow. Elton is no different, except he advanced earlier in age due to his career happening so early on.

He seems like a completely different person here in the early 70’s compared to now. Much more down to earth, humble and likable than the knighted “sir”, out of touch sort of persona that we’ve been seeing for quite a while. Perhaps the fame hadn’t gone to his head yet at that point in his career. He hasn’t had an easy life as wealthy and famous as he is. He’s so very talented and I’ve been a fan of his music since I was a kid. I wish him a happy rest of his life with his family and hope he enjoys his retirement.

Lol, I know what you mean. But it’s true he went through a lot and, let’s face it, that boyish charm is pretty much impossible to retain when you’re in your 70’s. The innocence is gone, your mom and dad and many of your friends have passed away…tends to make it hard to hide the grumpiness that is just a natural part of aging for most people. I’m a huge fan and always wished I could shake his hand and thank him for the great memories of his concerts and the gift of his music which inspired me to become a piano player and songwriter as well.

@@Rudyda1 You're so very welcome. I just rediscovered Elton John a few months ago after watching that movie Rocketman which I didn't care for too much so I thought to myself I must go onto youtube and listen to all his back catalogue which I have been doing for a few months now and I was pleasantly surprised to find that his fans have collected a wealth of videos of him performing from as early as 1970 which is totally amazing to me!!! I was a casual fan of him before and now I really admire the heck out of him. He is so much more talented than I ever knew !!! I enjoyed watching him perform in those early videos wearing his colorful vest there is a whole concert with outtakes and all, I will try to find the 58 minute long version and post it below.
