back then, in the 70ies, it was a special decade. the best artists from the 60ies and the beginning of the 70ies were in the business. for a reason. they recorded records when playing live in the studio. wannabe musicians had no chance of surviving in that business. so only the best were in the business. at the beginning of the 70ies suddenly the recording and instrument technology made huge steps forward each year. from 4 track to 8 track, 16 etc. and whatnot. Heaven for the best of the best artists. the result is what we know as the decade of the 70ies. the best ever. nowadays, a lack of talent is fixed in the studios. and even the worst artists sell millions of records.

Elton John is a very compassionate human being and a Class Act. I saw him perform at Washington State university in Pullman WA a few years ago and he played for almost 3 hours straight with no break. His concerts are awesome.
