This breaks my heart. I know he's trying to be a trouper, but I wish he wouldn't perform and let that infection in his eye heal....Love you, Elton. 💖

he is a professional in every sense of the word ..and still can rock like a legend ❤️

There just comes a time to retire and focus on your health and family. Elton has nothing to prove and has given the world so much. You don’t owe us anything.

He sounded incredible..I give him a ton of credit to push through a challenge in front of a huge crowd..that's why he is a living legend

Stevie Wonder couldn’t see his keyboard either. He did just fine. 😎

Performers are all different. I'm assuming Elton needs to glance at the keys occasionally for reference. I sympathize because I've been using a computer keyboard since 1997 and still have to look at the keys. I have to turn a light on to type at night, yet I learn other things without a problem. People are not the same.

So....what are WE seeing and hearing through. He's performing, "Your Song", then he's performing something that sounds like, "Sacrifice". ...and what happened/happens, and why is there not more video? Why does this just stop? Why haven't we heard anything about this?

Most of us would crumble simply being on a stage with that many people waiting for you to sing, but when _your own body_ refuses to let you do what you love most - what has endeared the entire world to you - it would be extremely difficult to ask yourself who you are without it.

He could afford the best eye surgeons in the world. Yet he’s unfortunately ‘still’ in this situation. So sad.

If he didn't want to retire.....he could try learning to play withlut sight like Andrea Bocelli and others. But it would be a journey,.but is also aided with years of playing, so he probably doesn't really need to look anyway, he's just used to doing it.

Any one who has played a piano dosent need to see the keys its an instinct and done automatically look at Steve' wonder hes totally blind

You have to wonder. All the blind pianist do just fine and he has played this song a thousand times it seems like he would know the keyboard by heart 🙄

hes been making a lot of mistakes in the last couple of years. im really not convinced that not seeing the keyboard is the issue.

No one has said there was a keyboard issue. He's gone blind in one eye. Why is he performing? Why is there no explanation to all of these things?

This guy is so crap and overrated. Decades now he's been threatening to retire. Every time he plays anywhere it's heralded as some fucking farewell tour etc. He never actually goes away. It's pathetic.
@jayodonnell43875 күн бұрын
He has completely retired from touring now. TOURING, is this a tour? No, he’s still doing one off performances and stuff as he is still Elton John
@strongchord43844 күн бұрын
@@angus1745 “It’s pathetic” As demonstrated by his recent farewell tour’s earnings which are only second to Taylor Swift Eras recent concerts. Not bad for a 77 year old. Obviously a lot of people don’t agree with you.
