I've been a HUGE fan of Elton John's since the late 70s... I remember back then, when ever he made an appearance on television, it was an all eyes clued to the tv, a must watch ordeal in my house. From the Phil Donahue interview to any and all award shows, etc.... There was something magical about him... And after watching Rocketman, my love and respect for him went through the roof! I just wish my mother was alive to witness this being she's the one who got me hooked on Elton John's music in the first place. I even passed down my love and respect for him to both of my sons.... I just wish I could thank Elton John in person for the amazing musical impact he had on my childhood and growing up.

Thankfully it doesn’t end!! I’m so glad to have this movie while I can continue to witness Elton’s growth, his choices. It’s like the story doesn’t end -how fabulous is that?!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the movie, already saw it twice -will go again soon. LOVE LOVE LOVE this song -already bought the movie soundtrack. Already planned a Karaoke Rocketman party! Thank you Taron for bringing Elton’s songs to life -for us who heard the songs since the beginning through the radio waves, ...and for those who see and hear the songs now through the screen/your voice. This movie embodies and gives life to my fantastical idea of Elton, his wild ride. But honestly -and more importantly- I think the movie shows our human nature and how we deal with adversity, trials and tribulations -in making choices. I’m so glad to have this movie while I can still witness his growth, his choices. It’s like the story doesn’t end -how fabulous is that?!!

Bernie basically made I'm still standing 2 by the way he described it. And he nailed the upbeat, redemption factor of it very much!
