I love the elven last stand videos! And seeing friendly catapults just mow down dozens of enemies is so satisfying and moral boosting, my favourite battle is still that one with like 18,000 troops, where the Elves were defending that massive hill and their catapult took out about a thousand orcs in total.

I've played that map single player about 9, million times. That slight slope you mention and defend around 8 minutes in you should always sit at the bottom with inf and fire over their heads into the front line of enemies. It works out better than volleying up and over and spears at the lip of the hill. ALSO I read the title and was like I bet the dwarves just send a postcard... oh no wait... reinforcements? SORCERY!
