Witchers are so overpowered. They just need to be banned. Seriously they are so accurate and deadly that it doesn't matter how many you have. Most online battles will have them banned. Either they need to be less accurate or less deadly or make them really easy to kill. Simple as that.

Hawkeye Pierce Yes that's true, and they shoot really fast, from kilometers and I don't think that they can run out of ammo. And even if they miss the fire continues on the ground and kills the troops that go on it. That's CRAZY

Pixelated Apollo, please do tell the mod creators that the Witchers are way too over-powered. This is from watching three battles with them. They seem to have endless ammunition, way too much health, and on top of this amazing accuracy and damage. I support evil factions having good troops, but those units are ridiculous.

That's why the Istari were sent as men instead of the angels/gods that they are. They weren't meant to defeat Sauron, just guide men against him. There is actually a fair bit of magic, it's just not flashy or elemental in nature: those Witchers are OP in the game, but they'd be rather pathetic compared to the real spellcasters in Middle-Earth such as the Istari or Galadriel. ESPECIALLY Galadriel. In the siege of Dol Guldur that's only brought up in supplemental materials, she single-handedly disassembles the entire fortress with just her magic and the power of Nenya. Never mind in the Battle of Five Armies movie when she waved her hand, disintegrated an orc, and sent a shockwave echoing to the horizon in every direction. It's just not often that this kind of magic is seen.

Btw apollo, about 80/90% of this mod is just straight up from divide and conquer, this mod is mostly made to make it possible to play multiplayer with divide and conquer material, loved the video and I do like this mod too

Well Kinda yeah. I the issue with D&C is that its not as stable. You can not make custom scenarios on it. So they wanted to slowly wanted the grab the units from D&C, balance the units, and make it more stable for multiplayer.

We will create a 3 stage battle for dwarves of erebor and dale. The first battle will be the battle Battle of Azanulbizar (Dwarves vs Goblins of Moria : lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Azanulbizar The second one the battle of 5 armies (Dwarves + Elves + Dale vs Gundabad and Misty Mountains) : lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Five_Armies The last one will be the battle for dale ( Dwarves + Dale vs Rhun/easterlings) : lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Battle_of_Dale They may come before the end of the year i hope so!

I can't say how much ammo they had in this build of the game, but in the current patch they're fine. Only 2 full volleys of ammunition, and they're super fragile, so if the enemy starts shooting them, particularly with eleven archers, the chances are they won't get all, if any at all of their ammo off. So they're a high risk high reward unit.

Stolen Sweetroll I know you mean you'd like to see more replays of Elder scrolls battles. I would too. There is so much they could do with it. You could have amazing units, especially for the Khajiit because if you read the books there are so many different kinds of cat people. So you'd have the Imperials,Nords,Orcs,Redguards, Argonians,Khajiit, and the Bosmer, Dumner and the Altmer which would of course be the Aldmeri Dominion bastards. So I think if Apollo played Elder scrolls and knew the Lore there would be some EPIC battles but he's only done like 2 videos so Idk how much we'll see from him.

Fairly certain that without the Witchers this battle would've been easier for the Elves. They have way to many ammo for the amount of damage that they deal.

I don't know how much ammo they had in this build, but in Reforged 0.97 they only have 2 full volleys for a unit. So they can still be devastating if used at the right moment against clumped up elites, but they're expensive and very fragile to arrow fire or cavalry charges, and can easily be lost before they even use any ammo.

I don't even think the elves at the end would be terrified, Apollo. I think it would be more accurate to say that they would be ready for those orcs, you know. They'd be thinking something like, "These fucking orcs, coming into my goddamn land, I'll kill every last one of these fuckers". I read a memoir from a Canadian who fought in WW1, and in a German attack on the trench his unit was occupying, he described how he felt a rage come over him, and was thinking to himself that he will stand there and shoot them until he was killed himself. In the heat of the moment, soldiers get that mindset that if those fuckers over there want to kill me, then they sure as hell can come and try because that will give me the chance to kill them.
