I'm a semi-retired professional musician. For the past couple years, I play at open mics around New England & New York. Boston, Plymouth, Cape Cod, Westfield, up in the White Mountains-NH, Johnson-VT, Providence, RI, Hartford, CT, and many other spots. 'Follow That Dream' is a song I've done alot. Few people know where it comes from. But man, every time the room stands up to dance. I just go in there with my acoustic guitar and sing it. Elvis chose the songs he recorded. All of Elvis' songs get the same reaction. I am convinced that the Elvis magic starts with his musical taste.
