I love your reactions so much I just had to hit subscribe. Elvis grew up extremely poor. He really appreciated and loved his fans for lifting him and his family out of poverty. He didn't often go into crowds because he would get mobbed. He'd had his clothes ripped off and was even hospitalized once. He said he didn't mind if his fans ripped off his shirt because they're the ones who enabled him to buy it. When at home, he would often go to the gate, sign autographs and visit with fans who gathered there.

I just came across this reaction again and I'm absolutely blown away at how hot you are. But yeah that's probably how all those women were feeling about Elvis at the shows. You can literally hear them screaming in the background, kiss me Elvis! And when he rubbed his face with that lady's handkerchief and she had this heartfelt thank you. You know that handkerchief exists to this day they have not with her with one of her children. He was one-of-a-kind for sure.

Let's not act like nothing could have been contracted from this kissing spree. There were a few diseases back then... mononucleosis and herpes, just to name two. It's just that there was a very low risk that would occur during this particular event.
