You know, I don’t know why but, over the weekend, I remembered a movie that I saw on tv as a child. It was called “touched by love” but was also known as “to Elvis, with love” It was about a disabled girl who had been left at a home for disabled children. She didn’t want to to try to improve or get any better. But she loved Elvis. So her nurse started encouraging her to write a letter to him. And I’m sure it doesnt spoil anything to say that he did personally write her back. It’s extremely touching. It is by no means a movie about Elvis. It is about this girl. And when I was a child, I thought the movie was fiction. Until the end when it talks about the girl but also about thanking Elvis for his kind heart. The full movie is on KZbin if anyone wants to watch. There aren’t many that remember this movie these days
