Eww no thank you...I would Much more had been at his 50s concerts; or at his Bel Air Gate but most of All, the Graceland gate to be invited to the Memphian theater....definitely wouldn't have wanted to see Barbara or Sammy in Smoke filled casinos...on the other hand, okay, I would have wanted to be at the show in 71 , I believe, where he's kissing all the girls during Love me tender 🥰

The coolest thing about Elvis is how he just kept doing his own thing while the whole world watched and admired. Even the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire had his photo on their mantle and said they had wanted to meet him. He was so charismatic and cool. RIP Elvis.

Elvis was a one of a kind,there will never be anyone who was so kind,loving,funny,and enormously talented !I think coming from humble beginnings, he never forgot that and that kept him from thinking he was better than anyone else.Thats why he hugged his fans,kissed his fans,I never saw another singer bend down and kiss his audience like Elvis! I wish I could go back to those years,those were great times to be growing up in as I was lucky enough to be ,I got to see the 68 Comeback Special when it first aired and also the Aloha From Hawaii Special, so exciting to watch!

To me is unbelievable that legends themselves regards Elvis as the ultimate legend. There are many other vids here in KZbin of the fantastic Tom Jones expressing his admiration, love for Elvis and confessing how much he influenced his music, I think it goes without saying that Elvis Aron Presley is truly the king of music & entertainment, love ❤️ him and miss him dearly, there will never be anyone like him.

i saw Elvis TWICE, in 74, my first concert, and in 77, a month before he died- and i didnt even want to GO to the first show, cos of the movies... but my Dad decided at the last minute he didnt want to go, so he gave me his ticket, and i loved it... Elvis was GREAT, WAY better than id have ever thought, and the BAND was unbelievable. When it was announced he was coming back in '77, i bought tickets for the whole family, and we ALL went...two months later he was gone. My Mom loved Elvis, Tom Jones, and mr. Humperdink as well, but hearing these back to back, it is NO question who my favorite is. Thank you for presenting it like this...i subscribed

Engelbert Humperdinck was only his stage name. Real name is Arnold George Dorsey. The real Engelbert Humperdinck was a German composer . Dorsey took the name because he wanted a memorable.name. Not everyone was blessed with a perfect stage name like Elvis Presley. Humperdinck had a natural way of connecting with audiences, like Elvis before his decline. Love your channel. Thanks.

Wonderful story of a Las Vegas that is gone forever. I've been an Elvis fan since I was 13 years old (54 years and counting). That said, Englebert was a singer nearly without peer. My mom had his albums and I played them as much as she did.

After 3 years of searching it dawned in me today that Elvis died chasing his image. The image and the man were two different things. He wanted to be the man but felt obligated to be the image. He could not escape the image and it killed him.

Engelbert was best singing his own songs and Elvis was best singing his own songs. Two of my favorite artists. I grew up with Elvis and finished growing up with Engelbert.
