I was at Graceland last year and number of hit records on wall, hall of fame, Grammys , presidential medal of freedom far out weighs Oscar’s and Even Jennifer Lopez , s 27 Grammys. I could see over the years but not one night . You look at number of hit records that Elvis had a d should have won Grammy s. He would have equal Ed her and more. He still had more hits.

I am a ballet dancer in my thirties from Spain. I listen to Elvis since my childhood, my mother was not a particular fan and neither was my grandmother. I can only say that his voice, his eyes, movements…captivates me. As an artist I know that people can have a talent, even more than one of course, but these are not always linked to this huge personal magic... Elvis was truly a masterpiece, a true delight in its essence, beyond the physique, beyond the appearance, his charm and magnetism is timeless, it will cross the time for generations.

I did not know a bout his life style , I had known men that had heart attacks in their forties , back then , so I figured that it happens . I then attended seminars , with people that worked for Elvis and they spoke of his over consumption . The best question , that Elvis was asked , was by a one of his girlfriends , when she saw all of the pills , she asked him if he was sick and if he was not why was he taking drugs ? The main problem Elvis had ,is that he was a very hyper person and it killed him . I couldn't believe it when he died , because of all of his energy.

I have read most of the comments,it is so nice to read all the great things you have said about Elvis. I have been a fan 65 years and have seen him go through a lot of changes. He changed but also stayed the same ,He was a big part of my childhood, my sister and I had a horrible childhood and his music was our refuge. He helped get us through a lot of lonely ugly nights,That is why l think it is wonderful that so many people love his music. Of course there are some who have ugly things to say but I don't even give their comments a second thought, they won't change how I see him .He was truly an amazing talent no one compares and I have had 65 years to see if someone could measure up to this beautiful, humble country boy who became a super star and no one does or has.I have God to help me through the hard times and he is always there when I need him,but still I listen to Elvis every day ,He just makes me smile

What generous and gentle man this legend was. In Spite of all the fame, adoration and his beautiful good looks, Elvis was always a southern boy at heart and treated everyone with the same respect. He devoted his life to making others happy and even when he was sick and ill at the end he persevered because he loved his fans, I respect him so much as a man and a legend. BTW I have always thought this song was dedicated to his mother rather then Priscilla, there was nobody in the whole world Elvis loved more then Gladys.
@valoriebritton20474 жыл бұрын
I have ALWAYS thought, and felt that, you are the only person I have seen comment here and say that. Elvis loved his mother more than any other person, and, I will take it a step further and say I believe with everything in me that Elvis didn’t die from drugs, or obesity, (those were only symptoms) but Elvis died from a broken heart. I don’t onow how old you are, but when Elvis’smother passed, he even said he would die young just like her, it was a self fulfilling prophecy. I think Elvis also lived with a void in his heart that he couldn’t understand and Inthink it was because, one, he shared the womb with his twin, but also, he was an identical twin, that’s one egg that splits into two people, he was born missing his other half. I am a step mother to identical twin girls, since they were 6 yrs old, now 42, they have never been able, their entire lives to be apart, it’s just bazaar , and when you look at them it’s like seeing mirrored images of them, there’s a spiritual, and a souls connection as well. I am 60 yrs old, and Inhave loved and adored Elvis my entire life, and grew up with all his records and watched all his movies, my mother said from the time Inwas two years old I would kiss the tv when Elvis was on! LOL 😳😍😘😘. But yes, this song brings me to tears every time I listen to it. No singer, entertainer, no celebrity, will ever come close...he definitely had, and was, something special❤️❤️❤️💔

@@Pierre_David_Colbert_Chabanais Have you read or watched on here, he was having 3 attacks as they were called, a day one attack would have been enough for a week. He was another Michael Jackson. He died from a broken heart dickhead. Now take my advice and watch what he was taking, its a miracle he lived so long. His colon was 3 times the normal size and it was that that made him so fat, it was filled and blocked with a white substance the drugs he was taking. Now watch.....
