Thrill Seekers: F-35s & F-15s Soaring Through the Mach Loop!

We had a couple of good days up on the Mach Loop with some stunning weather and plenty of action!

i LIke the f-35, it has shown to be able to take on several f-15's and win in a 1 vs 5 scenario vs them. f-15's cannot detect them.

This is magnificent. I turn 64yrs old this year and just diagnosed with autism. I love watching planes and watching this without music and any promotion keeps it real. Really cool that u love the planes !! I might be ignorant or just un educated but just asking, does noise affect your condition? These are loud!! Especially with the headphones turned up!!!! F-35s are just awesome, a good friends son is the one of the most highly trained Hornet pilots here in the RAAF, by far the best career in the world!!!!!!

@@lukebaker1167 RAAF...wow I am in Melbourne Australia. Explaining noise sensitivity is interesting as I hear the weirdest things that bug me but l can cope with most planes. I still remember the Concorde flying over the house in the 70s and what a sound and I remember it like yesterday. I think sometimes l might have an inner tantrum at certain times and I always thought it was stress or anxiety but it is now my 'quirkiness'. l do find watching planes extremely relaxing though. l wanted to join the RAAF to become a flight engineer. What a career your friends son has.🇦🇺🇦🇺👍

@@steven_scattergood awesome I’m in Hobart!!! man I hear noises that bug me too!! Nightmares of the ex mother in law!!!!! I know what it’s like to have a ‘glitch’ in a sense, ADHD and no medication for one, but I don’t mind it’s tolerable. Missed Concorde I wasn’t born till 1980!!! Then had real bad ears till I was about 10, any loud noise I hated, I certainly made/make up for it tho, I love all things motorsport, actually anything with a motor!!! From rocketry to rally to planes to music to rifles!!!! (No motor there…!! ) The pilot I know is call sign’Bones’ , can’t really say much more about that!!!!!!! Except his flight helmet alone cost $400,000!!!!!!!! Be safe Steven 👍👍👍

@@lukebaker1167 l would love to go to Tasmania one day. There is a product l was shown called 'Loops' that are wearable noise cancelling ear plugs that block out certain noises. I could name the noises that bug me but l definitely can't stand people who chew loudly. Concorde was incredibly loud and rattled windows but it was worthwhile. I love the sound of the Spitfie. Dude Bones has an incredible career. Keep on keeping on and don't overdo anything. Great having a chat.👍👍

Many years ago I was on a farm on an escarpment that overlooked a large valley. I could hear a large aeroplane but could,nt see it. Next moment an RNZAF C130 came along and out of the valley BELOW me, outstanding.

For an aircraft that first flew in July 1972, that's 52 years ago would you believe it, the F-15 is still potent even today. It goes to show that if it looks good it is good! I personally think the F-35 is really ugly.

kind of....The F15 carries its weapons and payload outside the aircraft and slow is now considered a bit cumbersome whereas the F-35 carries everything internally so is more streamlined. The F-35 can hit and exceed Mach 1.6 fully loaded but the F15 fully loaded ends up being a lot slower. With the more modern tech on the F-35 the F-15 would struggle.
