I will just never understand why they picked the absolute worst moment possible to rush the guy holding a grenade. You're in a moving aircraft with vacuum outside, YET close enough to something you could crash land on, and the guy you're rushing is prepared for it because everyone around him is acting creepy and hostile. Literally the worst point during their entire journey to Elysium to rush hom
@RedLorryYellowLorry_ Жыл бұрын
Not at all, you have it all wrong, they knew he wouldn't compromise the safety of his girl and the kid in this small space so that was the best time to pounce also they wanted the data inside his head for themselves before they even landed and handed it over.

@@beezzarro These are spec ops rogue soldiers. They are unorthodox and when they need something done they do it while placing their lives on the line because they were trained to do so plus they live in a world with advanced tech, the grenade literally blew off Krugers face and they reconstructed it back in a few seconds and they even mentioned the time he lost his legs, so the risk is literally nothing to them. If you watch the movie you'll understand how reckless he is because he has faith in his tech to do the rest.
@beezzarro Жыл бұрын
@@RedLorryYellowLorry_ I've seen it many times. You already talked about how valuable the info in his head is, so why would you choose to risk an explosive device going off MID FLIGHT IN A PRESSURIZED CABIN??? It's stupid, plain and simple. There were plenty of opportunities to stall and ambush him and they chose the time with the absolute highest risk. They could have parked themselves in space and depressurized the cabin. Or, they could have tasered him like they do to the woman and the shock would have kept his hand tight around the grenade. Kruger could have cut his hand off with his sword. But no, they decided to rush the guy when he was at the absolute height of his awareness because they were being ultra obvious and aggressive, and they did it while he's wearing a strength-enhancing exoskeleton. And what do you know? It turned out pretty god damn badly for them.
@BillyMcMorran Жыл бұрын
These troops are psychopaths and don’t place much value in human life. They will risk everything at the drop of a hat because for them ‘the action is the juice’. These guys are ready to rock and roll at a moments notice. As someone else said, they have advanced healing methods and mention someone else losing limbs in the past. Even if the Granada blows your head off, you can have it replaced. The chance of permanent death is minimal. They need the data, if not now, then when?

This is exaclty what we have been doing for decades against Africa or Asia Minor, and still do now for the most part. No wonder north africa migrates, no wonder Asia Minor develop "terrorists" if you read it through this film. Antigrav exists in the film, although it must be horrifically expensive because only ships and weapons (Kruger's rocket launcher he uses to shoot at the refugee ships) designed to break orbit have it. If they have antigrav, they can use the same technology in reverse to let you walk around a ship accelerating at relativistic speeds. And to counter all that nerdiness I just shat out, fucker really ate that grenade eh
