I’m sick of people telling her not to post “the same types” of videos over and over. so what? it’s her channel, she can do exactly what she wants. If she wanted to do 100 days of eating toad in the hole then she could. Love you Elzani 🤘🏼🇬🇧

It really does! I haven't watched a video from Elzani in awhile but happened to click here and my immediate thought was wow her hair looks amazing! It really has improved so much, super shiny and healthy like you said. Loads of other improvements too that I noticed actually, she's a far cry from the terrified and tormented girl I recall from around last xmas time, which I personally found really hard and upsetting to watch because it felt like her illness was just consuming her with little glimpses of the person fighting underneath. Now I feel like we're seeing more of the "real" Elzani, her cool quirks and actual life in her eyes. She's still fighting the illness obviously, but she seems to be controlling it way better than it's controlling her. Go her I say!

When you are ready, do you think looking into volunteering or working would help you stop focusing on food all day? When I was sick, it was only when I got back into a “normal” routine which didn’t involve just eating and exercising that I started to improve. Proud of your determination. X

Can I just say it's absolutely beautiful to see your personality emerging more and more as you recover and restore? You are such a lovely person inside and out
@junenovae5 жыл бұрын
Re-feeding often means extreme hunger and water retention. I'm glad to see you are able to understand that and consider it as a normal part of the process, a normal response of the body, cause it can be a very triggering time when the hunger kicks in and the body feels and looks different everyday because of the water retention. I can tell you (but I'm sure you know that already), as someone who got through this process twice, that these symptoms do go away. I felt like forever to me, but I finally got a normal appetite. You'll get there with all the amazing work and effort your are doing, I'm so impressed with how you are working through this process and the fact that each time you are able to push your limits when you feel like you are settling too much. Anyway, your videos are very inspiring to me, sometimes I forget how awful an eating disorder can be and I definitely do not want to go through that re-feeding process ever again in my life and watching your videos is a good reminder that it's not something I want to go through again. But also I love how your personality is showing more and more throughout the videos with your funny side coming thought and your relationship with your mother has evolved massively and is now more peaceful. In many ways I think your videos are so important and show exactly what it recovering can look /feel like.

Watching tv while eating isn't healthy. I have an eating disorder (35 years), and I've often engaged in *mindless eating* in front of the TV. Just because it is considered the norm, doesn't mean it's good for you. Eating should be an *experience* where you take the time to pay attention to, *enjoy* , and *savor* your food, not read a magazine, have conversations in the middle of eating or watch a movie. If Elzani were overweight or obese (which she definitely *isn't* ), people would be telling her to pay attention to what she eats so that she doesn't overdo it. Just because she *does* pay attention to what she eats most of the time, isn't necessarily a bad thing. She's come a long way. It's when you hyperfocus on your food and don't really enjoy it because you're worried about calories, fat, etc., that it becomes a problem.
