EMAIL vs SLACK | My favorite Steve Jobs video

If you would ask me for a video that I particularly like to share, it would be the Steve Jobs video from 1990 about email and how it revolutionized communication.
Now the question is why we use other collaborative tools at all if email is actually so good. The answer is actually quite obvious. 30 years later the basic idea is still the same but we want to use the collaboration tool that best fits our needs. Because of the many different channels and features like voice memos you can act much more focused and communicate faster with Slack.
In just under 6 ½ minutes I was able to read and respond to all my important messages. This leaves me more time to communicate with people in sync which I personally prefer anyway.
Steve Jobs is absolutely right that this network revolution is a huge thing but we have to see how we want to use it.

As much as I appreciate the thoughts behind this, is there any chance of getting to the point that the title of this video sets up way quicker. This is just taking way to long to state the super obvious. What is the point that this video is trying to make?
