+Drone Camps RC with the beeping. I flashed bf 3.2.7 to my omnibus on the LEADER 120 Nd it s doing the same thing. I think I turned off beep on arm under the buzzer settings and it has now stopped. The Baby Hrk R looks amazing! Great review, cheers!

The capacitor leads can take quite a bit of abuse before metal fatigue sets in. The only reason for the capacitor is to flatten out voltage drops, there will still be a ripple but that won't cause issues compared to a drop.

And obviously it doesn't really matter which capacitor you put in there, it just has to be "big" enough and electrolytic. 130ụF is on the smaller side, you would be perfectly fine putting on something bigger. I personally won't go past 560ụF, as size is a concern ;)

My Babyhawk R just showed up yesterday, and I'm a bit ticked about one thing - they've changed the frame design so it doesn't have removable arms now! It's all one piece now, I was hoping to upgrade to 2.5 or 3 inch arms. Oh well.

Awesome review as always, I notice alot of people complain about vibration. Something I always do is balance my props,do you do this? It made a noticeable difference in my Full Speed Leader 120. Now I'm a 25+ year RC plane pilot so it's just habit for me to balance any prop even the tiny ones. I'm new to quad racing and just wasn't sure if this is a standard in builds for those with your experience.

i ran gens ace 800mah 40c 2s on my gremlin with the emax 1104 and had no problem lifting those, i think the extra weight was a small price for the extra 2 minutes of solid voltage. with the torque-y-er 1106 motors i it should carry some of the larger 2s batteries, i also flew the quad on turnigy 300mah nanotech 70c and it ripped. but only for about a minute before destroying the battery.

I'd really like to know the weight of the frame itself. I know the canopy is about 6.5grams, but what about just the frame and hardware? For whatever reason it seems noone sells replacement frames or posts the weight of the frame. Its hard to compare frames without specs...

I picked up a Babyhawk R from a guy that was flying it in a Taranus XT Lite, but I can’t get it to bind with my Radiomaster Zorro. I’ve gone through all the normal binding steps did a fresh CLI dump, tried different protocols, etc. The lights all cycle and the motors turn in BetaFlight. Even the light on the receiver flashes once I put my transmitter into bind mode. Still nothing. Any tips? New firmware flash? New reviver? Thanks.

It does fly out of the box. But people into this, have own (expensive) transmitter/receiver, goggles and possibly batteries, which is why it has to be sold like this. Different manufacturer radios are by default NOT compatible with each other. Bind and Fly = Including a receiver, often with a choice of manufacturer Plug an Play = You have to mount your own receiver.

Great idea, except I lack patience so I've already flown my maiden with it. Gotta say, I absolutely love it! I can't believe the throttle response, it's rediculously fast, and crazy quiet (almost too quiet). They may have changed the design based on reviews like this... noting the back arms seperating a bit as you've shown in your review.

Oh no, that’s alarming! I hope i get the stock version. Mine should arrive next week. I already ordered two sets of 2.5 inch arms and plenty 2540 props in order to get everything asap. I only found one single reseller in whole Europe with the 2 inch Babyhawk R in stock.

You'll be okay. I should of worded what I wrote a little better - the arms aren't single arms like I was expecting, but are removable. The front 2 arms are really just 1 removable arm, same with the back. I upgraded to 2.5 inch as well, and it worked out great. Have fun with your new Babyhawk - you will greatly enjoy it, no doubt about it!
