Most things that turn our well in life, often get worse at the beginning - I have to concede to Martin that it does not look better on the eye, however certain key stats like possession and touches in the opposition box are markedly improved. Keown as an ex professional and wannabe coach should know better. In a day of data analysts and sports scientists its well know that players who don't play 90 minutes or even don't play at all cover a training session after games so they can match the rest of the squad who did play. Classic periodisation of the game and keeping everyone together on rest days / rehab days. For him to not know this just shows how far removed from today's game he is. Whether they recorded it and put it on social media is irrelevant as this is just a natural thing for any team to do after a game.
