Incredibly helpful. Changing gears on Walk Mode and high gear on Walk Modes for uphill is hugely helpful.

Ive had my Levo for about 2 years. I would recommend two tips for beginners- make sure your suspension is set up properly (you will need to get a special pump from you dealer) and get a pair of proper mountain biking shoes - they have a much firmer sole which greatly improves power transfer to the pedal and also have a special grip which stops them slipping off the pedals. They will also give your foot a lot more support and protection than your standard footwear. Doing these two things greatly improved my riding performance and enjoyment.

I do lots of urban riding. When there are suspicious people at the signal light just run it when it's safe. Same for under a highway overpass at 5:00 in the morning. Just run it when it's safe. And when you come to a red light pop on the sidewalk. All ways keep three rear lights on your ebike. I have had two go out at the same time. USE tire slime in tube tires. Keep you from having flats and repairs them instantly. 99%. (Green stuff). Pre order all the parts you think you will need. Especially your favorite tires. Learn how to charge your phone from your bike. You never know. Charge your bike after every ride. Immediately. Buy the best lock system you can afford. Ulock and cable combo probably best or close to it. Don't under estimate easy stuff. One curb got me last week. Bloody ankle and knee. Cheers

As David said below, walk mode air shifting, brilliant idea.

If your on even a slight downhill fire road or trail then try turning the motor off. Saves power and you find the weight of the bike will keep your momentum up.

I found on climbs that get progressively harder I get into my 3 easiest gear and eco mode to start then as it gets steeper I change the mode first (like a front derailleur) and keep changing that until I get the right amount of power then shift for smaller gradient changes. Its easier on the chain and cassette and you fuss less with shifting and focus on the feel of the climb more.

I’m struggling with the weight of the ebike and keeping it upright on corners and off camber trails, any hints?
@leroywilliams72102 жыл бұрын
I’m going to assume you’re going to slow if you have a problem keeping it upright. Think about how heavy a dirt bike is and no issues. Good MTB coaching can help a ton!

I don’t notice any assist when I put my bike in walk mode (Shimano E8000 system on ‘20 Norco Sight C1 29). Same issue on my wife’s smaller version of exact same bike. To be honest, I’ve never really messed with it much..

The mistake I made with my new Turbo levo. Dont go riding on huge 20 miles loops 3 times a week cause your knee will give out on you due to overuse and you will be off the bike like me for 10+ days! Just take it easy at first and don't override cause then you'll be kicking yourself on a Friday afternoon when your buddies are going without you

So 60 miles a week will wreck you're knees? Think that's specific to you're ability
@suhwateezea.2143 жыл бұрын
@@lordpoochalot yeah it's not the bikes fault, it's my physical capabilities showing their weaknesses. I just went on a 15 mile ride yesterday in tacky mud conditions and my knee feels fine today.. Eventually after some conditioning and persistence my body should hopefully be able to handle the big rides more frequently :)
