I'm about Micky's age, I live in the UK, I've had the shits here, I've had them in Spain in the 1980s ( too much sun and San Miguel ) but nothing prepared me for The Curse Of The Pharaoh's, the Egyptian variant of Delhi Belly. I'd been warned but after a week or so there I started getting careless, sat in a restaurant one night and coughed. No warning, I shat myself, had to leave quickly and hurry squelching back to my hotel with shit running down my legs. I was in Egypt for a month, It wasn't the last time I shat myself, it was weeks before I could cough with any degree of confidence, let alone break wind.

I went to Goa (India) about 18 years ago with friends (from London, UK). We were staying for just over 3 weeks and had been warned about NOT straying too far from the tourist areas to eat or drink. For those who may not know, Goa is probably the most 'westernised' part of India... Well after two weeks of sun, sand, sea and lots of good food, but even more drink, we all felt very happy, relaxed and comfortable ! Then we got invited by some Germans (who were staying nearby and we had been meeting on the beach / the pool / bars over many days), to do this 'all-nighter' beach disco/party. It involved getting either a coach from the town square or cabs for about an hour & a half journey each way. During the day, we did an 'all inclusive' visit/trip to a spice farm (with a sit down buffet meal break). I sampled everything... I'm a pig. On the return journey (an hour and a half), my gut was starting to tell me something was NOT right, luckily a female friend had Imodium tablets, so I took a couple, which seemed to start easing the discomfort after about an hour... Got back to the apartment, went to the beach bar, then got ready for the 'beach party'. The Germans were going by coach and myself & friends had booked taxis. Now I have set the scene, I will tell you the rest quickly (because everything seemed to happen so fast). We arrived at the beach, met up with our friends, bought several rounds of drinks and up-dancing when (without any warning), I shat myself in light coloured shorts. It ran down my legs and splashed everywhere. Only our 'group' had realised what had happened and started kicking sand over the diarrhoea, I was mortified and my friend got me more tablets to take. We quickly left heading to the loos, but someone noticed my legs, arse and shorts - pointing and laughing. It was awful. Obviously it was late into the night/morning so nowhere to buy clothes. I ended up in the toilets washing shitty underwear/shorts and trying to clean myself with what tissues the others had and could borrow. Also, we couldn't get a couple of cabs back and the Germans managed to get me and two others on their coach by some miracle? The worst day of my life... 😵‍💫😮😢😭😓

I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole watching your reaction videos that I’m really enjoying (and that snippet of music at the beginning is living rent free in my head, it’s so catchy!) As someone else commented, Catherine Tate on “The Graham Norton Show” explaining how she created “Nan” is worth a look. As are Miriam Margolyes’ videos, who is another reoccurring guest of his. Mockumentary sitcom “This Country” which is written by and starring siblings Daisy May and Charlie Cooper as Kerry and Kurtan Mucklowe is also very funny. Especially the “random act of kindness” scene with Kerry and her unseen mum (who is also voiced by Daisy May Cooper).

I love watching people see this for the first time, if you don’t laugh your head off you’re not normal! The last time (!) I shit myself I was in hospital, apparently it’s a side effect of the antibiotics I’d been given. I wish they’d told me, I might not have chanced letting a fart out! I had to go get showered, throw my boxers in the bin, and bundle all the bedding up and hope the laundry person just stuck it in the cart without unrolling it. I was discharged before they collected the bedding, so I’ve no idea if it was discovered or not. At the age of 48 I’m a veteran of the shart. 💩💨💀

Please checkout “Coupling”, the BBC Show ran for four seasons from 2000 until 2004, it was billed as the British Friends, but it just wasn’t, it was so much more. I remember going on the tube (subway) to go to King's Cross about 45 minutes and really needing a no. 2 I was sweating shaking and praying I could get through it. I made it to the toilet at the pub at the platform and I have never felt such intoxicating relief. The fear beforehand was intense. The concentration required to just hold on was one of the biggest mental battles I've ever had and I'm bipolar ffs. I'll never forget sitting on that toilet in euphoria.

Oh yes, we have All been there, even here in the UK! I enjoy Real Ales, Which mean that the yeast is still Live in the Barrels. They are “ Cask Conditioned Beers”’. I had this after eating a steak tartar in France. I've had it myself lol, I just had my son and was released from the hospital a couple of days after having him, I knew I didn't feel well I was feeling extremely faint I told the midwives but they sent me home anyway I got out of the cab with my bf and my newborn son and I didn't even make it through the door lol now keep in mind my bf is a soldier and at the time we were going into an army barrack block where other soldiers were living when it just exploded everywhere so a pillows nothing lol. I had to be taken back into hospital I had a stomach infection after giving birth and was ill for a week with it lol it's horrible I think I would have rather have given birth again lol.
