Listened to all the podcasts, back in about 2006, traveling back and to to uni each day on the train. Very early days of podcasting. I'd be laughing like a fool, listening on my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone. Bit later on it was on the android G1, people looking at me like I'm nuts. I don't think they worked as good when they was illustrated on TV. A far better listen than watch.

My choice of super power hasn't changed in 20+ years. The ability to make people shit themselves instantly. Nothing stops a fight like someone suddenly exploding out of their asshole. The power you mentioned about being able to reach into your pocket and produce exact change. Upgrade that to a pocket that is situationally aware. If you need money the pocket gives you money, if you need a weapon the pocket gives you a weapon, etc.

Karl's point about space is actually completely off. Yes, traveling on a plane to go somewhere isn't the good part, but that's only because we're USED to it. For a long time, flying for the sake of flying was something tonnes of people did because it was a new experience. Going to space, in a rocket no less, is something that very, VERY few people have done but many more would love to experience. Flying on a plane and seeing clouds is not even close to being in a rocket in a low-earth orbit seeing the entire planet.

I’ve definitely donated to the Heifer Project which sends goats and cows to people in developing countries…but it isn’t a random gift that gets dropped in some unexpecting lap. The families receiving the donated animal would have filled out paperwork to apply for this donation and can prove that they can provide for the animal and are even trained how to turn the milk into cheese and other products they can sell.

It's a German woman iirc who plummeted into the rainforest canopy while still sat in her seat & the trees slowed her down.
