I have cats that were left by my mom when she passed away! The mother cat brought the kittens to her porch and set them on the steps so my mother started taking care of them, and we created a place in the garage for them! I have since sold that house but I live next-door And I have an outdoor shed which I cut holes in the front and back for the cats to come and go and I have set up cat beds to keep them warm and cozy all winter. I also have a cat door on my sun porch so that I can leave food Out for a couple of other stray cats that showed up and I set up beds there for them. My parents were both raised on farms and I was taught that you never let an animal starve no matter where it comes from. They are all gods creatures! I also believe I read somewhere in the Bible that you take care of the animals after all Noah did so I cannot imagine, a human being on earth who would not care for animals! I believe that those that are harmful to animals or intentionally hurt animals are actually not humans, but could be clones, or could be filled with a demon spirit!

My grown son loves the feral cats in our neighborhood so much, he worries everytime it rains, snows or gets cold. He has made numerous cat houses using styrofoam, hay, blankets in storage containers. Sometimes however, I wake up to them on our enclosed porch where he makes tents for them! He’s a quiet guy so I purchased your Introvert Tshirt for him as it describes him to a T😊😊😊

On my little Kubota I simply turn the key to the left, a spiral light will show up on your dashboard. This indicates that the plugs are heating. Continue to hold the key to the left until the light goes off indicating that the plugs are properly heated then turn your key to the right to crank the engine. Going to be a cold winter. Good job you have plenty of wood. ATB regards from the UK

I had a friend who had a Mercedes. It kept it in our apartment underground garage and I noticed that he had a heater plugged in to the wall that was made specifically for the Mercedes cars to keep them warm! Maybe you could keep an electric blanket over your tractor as long as you need to cut the grass in the winter time! That’s an idea

I love how you care for the wildlife and adopt all sorts of animals into your family. It is beautiful. I have a particular fondness for the cats, the three legged dog, and the donkeys. Lincoln is the calm in your storms. He seems unflappable And he has the ability to think outside the box when faced with a problem, which is rare these days. The creative way he figured out how patch systems together to keep things going when your power was out was amazing. Electronics is all Greek to me. I envy your walled garden. It will take time, but with a little help, you have the potential of being sustainable.

To prepare your diesel tractor for winter use: 1. Keep an electric heated dipstick in the crankcase 24/7 during cold weather, 2: Spray ether briefly into the intake while starting. We had 3 Ford Diesel Tractors & John Deere growing up on a beef ranch with 6000 acres in Oregon... this never failed! ❤️🙏

Watching your video brought back so many memories for me. I lived in Germany for about 30 years; I used to try and mow the grass at the latest possible time, as my grass was still growing as well. I had a dog, so if let go, I would find it difficult to go out with him as winter progressed. Also used to love shopping at Action. It only came to my area about 10 years before I left, but I could always find many things I most definitely needed from there. Love your videos and am so happy you share your journey with us. Until next week.

We do the same. I've told the hubby the house is looking a bit Hodge Podge (sp?) as he's built a wind deterrent from slabs of a fence we took down just to break the wind from making the kittie's houses less warm. It's not looking idyllic. All their heated homes are on the side porch looking like a kitty condo building now. Although we just added a new heated one for our new addition on the dining room porch with cords coming from the cellar in different directions, for Hoss, the sad looking monkey boy. Oh well. Sadly the SPCA here has stopped their neutering programs as donations are down. Guess a $399 trip to the Vet is coming very soon. Yep, that's what they want now.

Nice video. I have almost the same woodburner and you could put brickets ( the bigger almost brick size ones) in it. In the morning they are still glowing and that way you keep heat and you can start up burning wood again faster. I like the smell of it because it reminds me of our trips to our family in former East Germany (GDR). Yes, it is not healthy. Regards from the Belgium Ardennes/Eifel.
