I loved how your daily vlogs were basically "these are the things I love, this is how I take care of them". Whether it was cleaning, decorating, or telling us about your health and spiritual journey. There is definitely a place on social media for your old format. So many of us are changing our mindset to loving what we have, being more creative and present, and spiritually growing. Capitalism wants us exhausted and unsatisfied. You're already perfect how you are, Kalyn. So grateful that you've been a constant in my life for so long, even though we live in different countries!

Kalyn, this content is so much more relevant and needed than you know and I’m so grateful for you! I gave up social media about 10 years ago and started to embrace some of the concepts of minimalism/simple living about 5 years ago and it has helped me to prioritize what I truly love and value. I also have two boys, and motherhood definitely changes your priorities. I value and look forward to your content and insights so I hope you never doubt yourself and know that you are spreading content that is helping so many people, even if society and social media may not make you feel that way. We appreciate and love the real you ❤

You have no idea how I needed to hear this and how it literally saves my overwhelmed brain right now. Thank You for bringing me peace of mind and thank You for all the precious content You make, I've been watching You since Your early yt era and I am beyond grateful for You being here and creating for us.

Kalyn...did you read my diary? Hahaha honestly I almost cried hearing this because I was so caught up on doing everything and fancying myself wonderwoman. But I'm almost 30 and I just realized I haven't finished anything, I just dabble everywhere. I have now chosen one thing and my only goal is to love that one thing with all my heart (and actions) for a year, to see how it feels 💛 You inspire me so much and I hope I can come back and say "I did it" in a while

And I just have to say (not a Mom here) but the way your face lights up when he walks in is something that will stick with him and server him well

I hear that all the time. Oh, our house looks bad because it is old. I am glad to have a house. One day, we will remodel it to our liking. I am glad we got it when we did. But I felt the same as you. That it was a stepping stone.

Your “change” video popped up on my homepage today after struggling for days with change and finding peace in the little things and trying to slow down. I decided to click bc my name is also Kailyn lol This is the 2nd video I’ve watched of yours today and I’m loving your peaceful energy. I’ve been super overwhelmed with constantly thinking I have to be doing the most, constantly growing and improving, having 10 daily hobbies and spending time with my husband (also named Ryan😱 what in the simulation is this?!) and our 2 cats all while in a new state with a new full time job… My brain is exhausted. Thank you for reminding me that LESS IS MORE. I read The Power of Now 2 years ago, but def will be rereading in this new season of my life.🙏🏻

There are so many shiny things out there for sure. I have found (older reader here lol) that a braindump list is a great way to go or inspiration list the things I would like to try one day hobbies etc.

I agree with this a lot of what you said was true. I also love that you have a copy of the burnout from Sophie kinsella in the background. She is my fav author and that book encompasses the overall feeling of fatigue & stress that burnout can bring with it.

Love this talk and would love to see more on this also in your vlogs, where you are embracing it! Because I really think this concept helps, because I always struggle with prioritizing and wanting to do it all...

Here for "nostalgia" content! 🙋♀I am tired of fast pace content that does not apply to my adult life. I think people should use their brains and creativity and not just watch fast pace marketing flashy blink blink content that rarely brings something valid nowadays. With some exception of course there is plenty of helpful stuff which is not trending, and one finds it only if he/she is looking for it. Vlogs from daily life, conversation with concrete topic that is why I love your channel since forever. 🧚♀🐶💘 Plus I would like to make comment about over consumerism which is very popular topic in western society nowadays. I am from post communist country (living in Europe), I remember how shops looked like, there was so little to chose so that is extreme that was present not too long ago. Even when youtube started lets say beauty gurus in the beginning, it was for me only to watch, most of those products that girls were referring to we not even available, let alone I would never be able to afford stupid mac lipstick :-D the ridiculous amount of make up that those girls had was shocking to me back then. Now being 33 I know that if you your basic needs covered, and there is some money to spend just for fun or to whatever YOU chose to spend it on, you have basically everything. You don't have to be stressed about latest handbag, car etc. If that is your only stress then you are living very privilege life. In my humble opinion life should be lived authentically, should be enjoyed and appreciated. 💖 💖 💖
