Just a superficial look to the NextGen from Airbus, the Nexus and Wisk, reveals that the Embrear's EVO concept is way more solid, with better aerodynamics and less prone to failure, what is needed to commercial flights and this strong foundation provides for better TCO. It is clearly a winner over everybody else with the exception of Beta, another excellent, solid concept.

Bombardier really needs to get itself in the game because it's probably the only one of the Big 4 not to invest in many eVTOL projects to date which is weird considering they practically invented an entire category of personal mobility with the Ski/Seadoo projects.. which if anyone remembers was supposed to be called the Ski Dog but because of a fateful printing error became an even better name... And a great pun... 23 Ski Doo!

@@raulcarlos - seriously, how could that thing autorotate? Gliding can be okay, if you've already got enough forward airspeed to provide adequate wing-lift. But if you're in the dead man's curve -- high enough altitude without enough lift -- then you're dead. Fortunately, it's got 8 rotors for vertical lift, and it's hard to imagine enough of them failing at once.

Far too loud, have 100 times more moving parts that can cause catastrophic failure, very inefficient use of fuel/energy, maintenance intervals associated costs extremely high, safety record is by far worst of any powered craft (flying or not)

@jpslaym0936 only thing I agree with is more moving parts, the rest is pretty arguable. It would have all the drawbacks of e-powered vehicle: temperature dependance, inability to "fuel" fast, batteries disposal etc. But still ....it has found its customers, so lets wait for real thing's operation

Choppers are much more difficult to pilot, much more risky to fly, much more inefficient, cruising speed comparably much slower, much louder, maintenance is more complex and expensive, fuel costs much much more.

Why should they show the tests flights? Embraer never showed any test flight of its 20 planes she certified. You live ina world of You Tube videos, which is not Embraer main purpose (please audiences). BTW the mock up they showed it’s a diversion to confound the competitor. That ugly thing will never see the sky.

What have they ever built, certified? Nooooooothing. What about Embraer? Well let’s say 20 planes, ( military, commercial and private jets) radars, Air Traffic control system, for Brazil and other countries (ex. India), Ships, landing gears.. and the list goes on and on. Has presence in 150 countries and 19 000 employees
