Looking really good. I’m glad it wasn’t just me that had a nightmare setting up the motor. I really struggled putting a new motor on my Boxford. Look forward to seeing it running.

My favourite sheet metal! in the seventies I was making repair panels for cars with washer and boiler sides! I used two vices four feet apart with a couple of pieces of angle iron between them, you can make all sorts from that stuff, but if you need to shape it it is best to anneal it first because it has already been pressed and it is very hard! Cracking motor box cliff, that should keep the flying swarf out! Phil

Good idea, I have the original motor and because of the fins it does pick up a lot of crud. I will do the same if I ever have to work around the back of mine, at the moment its a bit close to the wall.

Nice job! That will work well. Access to the motor fixing bolts is probably easier than on my m300😁!
