I made one for the act once with insulation and an electric heating pad. The cat refused to go into it even in the dead of winter.

I was quite surprised one of the cats was straight in it! Thought I'd end up with it on a stick for a bird house!😂

I just finished a repair of a GPO fusee clock. It's a quality movement and very robust in construction. It doesn't use a click and ratchet wheel on the mainspring barrel, but rather just a cock piece with a square hole. I gave a quarter turn to put preload on the gut line and then fitted the cock screw. Certainly a setup with the ratchet would have been easier. There is stopwork so that before the end of the line is reached, the winding action is stopped. This prevents over-tensioning the gut line. As this was my first fusee clock, it was interesting to feel the smooth and even winding tension when winding the clock. This would be a great device to put on a chiming mechanism. It's very disturbing to me to hear the difference in chiming speed after winding and then when it's ready to be wound again.

Hello Cliff, I like that homemade knee switch for the Rage 5. 😊 I put a soft start module on my one last week but it was a three wire one.....a little more complicated but same result!! I really like the Rage 5 table saw. 😊

Hi Cliff, Starts a lot better and don't have to worry about the motor ripping it self apart on start up a good improvement to your table saw. There was a video on Monday installing one of these soft starts to a table saw it was on Dean's channel " Woodworking Journey " he had the three wire unit for his saw, catch you soon, take care

I got mine for 11 bucks. It works perfectly, and when compared, side by side, to an actual "smith" brand torch, there is literally no difference whatsoever. If you want to believe rumors, be my guest. My 11 dollar torch works 100 percent perfectly. Go ahead and spend 130 dollars MORE than I did, and when you get the same torch I did in the mail... well.

Not seen those travel mugs, but it looks like it was dipped in plastic, guaranteeing an uneven surface. Wrapping film around that would have added crinkles, making things worse. Two orientation rings (same outer diameter, different inner diameters to fit the top and the bottom) would have provided even more consistent contact. The "ovality" problem points to the roller attachment being configured for a different diameter than the outside diameter of the orientation ring. If the roller attachment driver cannot be re-configured, then your only fix would be to squish/stretch the image.

It's more of a hard powdercoat. Very light rough finish

Nice work! It might be interesting to make a rotary attachment that accepts one of your 3-jaws. If it were tiltable as well, that would get you through printing on non-parallel objects, but the solution you used is quite efficient.

I have the rigid brand version of that saw with a 100 tooth Diablo blade. It does exactly same. It also handles stacked dado blades great saws that don't take up a lot of room in my garage.
