I went to Target, Sam's Club, Wal Mart and a local grocery store today. I have online orders coming in from Costco, Wal Mart and Amazon. Like you guys, I set a deadline to be finished by the end of October and I DID IT! We have been preparing for months. Absolutely exhausted from the shopping and the stress of searching for stuff but so thankful to be done. I will do curbside pickup for dairy, fresh produce or anything else we want to replenish as we use our supplies. I have pet foods on auto ship. Coffee on auto ship. Now I must organize everything! OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU FOUND LYSOL!!!!!! I am so tired of searching. We made a five hour round trip to an out of state Costco weekend before last hoping to find some. No luck. Y'all are doing great! I just love you two and love to watch your videos.

@@jamiebrandon4256 Last month I asked and was told that "by this time of day we are sold out". It was 10:15!! The regular open time is 9. Apparently, the early shoppers wipe them out when they go at 7? I'm down to my last can, so when it's gone, I'll use wipes, unless they keep raising the price on them.

Great haul! If you’re going to have others hunkering down with you, there are probably things for them you’ll need such as sanitary supplies for the females, , heat patches (for cramping or pulled muscles), Tylenol and/or Advil, some bandaids, 70% Isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide (the kind in the spray bottle works great), Nyquil for cold and flu season, children’s cough and cold meds, a first aid kit and manual (I hear Red Cross has a very informative one), aspirin (which should NEVER be given to children, even if it’s children’s aspirin). Also a couple decks of playing cards, checkers, other board games in the event the electricity goes out for two or three days to alleviate boredom. I know my list is all over the place. LOL. Thank you for sharing. Blessed be!!!

Kirkland brand has some really hi-quality products. Their olive oil is one of the highest rated and purest olive oils out there. I heard Kirkland batteries are actually Energizers re-packaged for Costco. So I don't doubt the Kirkland brand vodka is really good, it might even beGrey Goose re-packaged for Costco. ETA: Kirkland brand batteries are Duracell and yes Kirkland brand vodka is by Grey Goose there's an article on Moneywise . com that list big company brands repackaged for Kirkland brand... Persil laundry detergent and Starbucks coffee to name a few.

Here’s a recipe for Don . . . I haven’t been very lucky in finding canned meats lately but I found a can of Hereford Corned Beef. I remember having it as a child, so I decided to try it. The only downside is the high sodium. But I used the 12 oz. can for a huge skillet. Cabbage would have been a good addition but I didn’t have any. I’m going to buy more cans to have in my pantry. We both really liked it! CORNED BEEF SKILLET SUPPER In a little water, cook until tender: 8 small red potatoes (any would work), cut in 8ths 2 C. Carrots, cut bite sized 1 whole onion, chopped Add and cook 5 more minutes: (Note: add more water as needed.) 1 can whole corn, drained 1 can green beans, drained 1 can (12 ounce) corned beef Season to taste. I sprinkled with Johnny’s garlic and some black pepper. Don’t add any salt.

Corned beef makes excellent tacos, fry it up with taco seasoning and put it in taco shells with coleslaw style cabbage. Delicious. Sometimes I grate potatoes and carrots into it while it's cooking, stretches the meat and add a little fiber.

I just wanted to mention Koolaid packets are 24 cents each and 1 cup of sugar makes 2 quarts. 80 cents for each Koolaid pouch with a straw isn’t bad. I’m just on a limited income. I have problems with my kids drinking enough water but, if I have Koolaid, they will drink plenty. God bless you!

It’s so sweet of you to always be thinking of and mentioning the kids and grandkids. I love that! Hey Don, corned beef is the bomb! We have about 40 cans on our shelves. Great quick-fixin’s when you’re tuckered out and hungry. We love ours with homestyle diced potatoes...pan fry those up and serve with eggs over easy. Total comfort food. ❤️

I am a coffee holic! Lol I have two big jars of instant coffee just in case I can't do the Kuerig or my regular coffee pot. My Mom is also here with us, so I haul for Her and our 4 children. She does a few hauls of her own, especially for medical supplies we'll need as well. I agree that we will maintain happy foods as long as we can, and once we shift to the beans and rice phase, then it is what it is. God is Faithful! If indeed we don't need all that we're preparing, then we can be a blessing to others, but something tells me we will not regret all this prep we're doing. God Bless You Both and your precious Family!❤

You need to pour a little off your milk before you freeze it to make room for it to expand. We too have everything we need for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years for our family of 14. There is a chance we will have to eat outside or in the garage so we have plenty of fresh air. I hit the dollar store for “Fancy” (plastic)serving trays and platers. Also through in disposal baking pans. Costco had a Thanksgiving bundle of paper dinnerware. Less mess if we are forced outside. Y’all are doing such a great job stocking up. Thanks for sharing

I love, love, love corned beef! I was just talking to a friend tonight about the yumminess of corned beef. 😁 Anyway, you should sautee onions, peppers, garlic, and tomatoes, then add the corned beef then season it up. You can add things like cabbage or potatoes to corned beef. I also like adding red beans to corned beef. In our family, we love curry... adding a lil curry adds a whole lotta flavor to corned beef. Corned beef in all its forms is good with rice, bread/naan, or dumplings.

You both are too cute together, and I love your upbeat happy attitudes. I just started prepping in February this year. God, made a way for my husband to have extra work the last few months, so we could focus on food storage. I got a lot of the same stuff as you did, but focused more on staple ingredients. Lots of rice, beans, flour, and noodles. I also got lots of spices, bouillon, fats, and sugars, and some dehydrated and canned fruits and vegetables. For medical, pretty much the same as you with the addition of lots of large bandages. My teenaged son is into downhill skateboarding, so I just want to have that too. We stocked on the Kirkland vodka too! Good stuff! Hopefully, all this prep everyone is doing is unnecessary, but it's better to be prepared, especially when you have a family to care for. I pray you both stay safe and that God blesses you both and your family through these crazy times we are living through. ❤

I seal three times because I'm crazy like that. When I first started vacuuming sealing I would find my items loosing their integrity with just one seal. Two should suffice though.

Thank you for sharing! Love you as a couple. Love your channel. It's funny how I found you after watching one of my other gardening/homestead channels. And had just recently started watching you. Then I heard Homestead Heart shout you out on their live. Welcome to the family. Keep up the great work prepping and sharing with the rest of us.

I found a solution for my rice problem. Put them either in juice bottles or soda bottles with oxygen absorbers. It was from Prepper Nurse 1. It was an old video. Just passing it along. I do watch other preppers but I just happened to miss this particular one.

Hello I think you got some really great deals. Now this is just a suggestion. Alaska Prepper has a good channel. I think you should check him out. I've been subscribed to him for a year and a half. Maybe 2 years he can help with great ideas. I won a canning machine on his channel. And I am never lucky. I never win anything. That canning machine is fantastic. Thankyou for sharing your haul I really think you picked up some excellent deals. You found Lysol wow! Amazing

Cheaper to put meat in freezer bags then slide that unopened inside foodsaver bag and seal. Worked well for me, just dont shut the freezer bag inside. Just sharing case you wanna try.

You guys are so wonderful! I so wish we were less than a half continent apart because I would love to have you to my house for a prepper pantry event (like dinner!) It is so important to have some comfort foods for the family during times of stress. This last round, when we were literally locked down, if not for comfort foods and hobby supplies, we would have not fared as well. I recommend things like chocolate chips for cookies and oatmeal and raisins for cookies as well as the most iconic snickerdoodles. Thank you for all your willingness to be so open, and thank your for your inspiration. Stay safe!
