72 yo, I stopped trying different products & went with all Laura Geller. I tried to make a mess, heavy on eyelids, under eyes, it still looked gorgeous. Broken capillaries, sun damage, melasma-my skin looks smooth & even. I use the Baked Foundation-Glow, on my dull skin. It’s not shiny at all. Love her products.

Great video! I'm a drugstore girl, but I saw this exact LG face palette at a thrift store unused for 6 dollars! I've been in love ever since and get compliments when I use it. For reference I have oily skin, 47 yo, and light skin tone. I use sunscreen and then I use the original French vanilla highlighter as my all over face powder. It has no shimmer and good pigment for that purpose. I'm cool toned, so the bronzer on me works better as a contour shade, but the pink is my perfect bright pink. I highly recommend!

Hi Emily….first time commenter from me! I love my LG baked products..have been using them for about 6 years…have tons of other makeup products from high end to drugstore and without fail I come back to LG every time. I see that my face looks flawless with using primer and baked foundation and then blush etc. I also have a LG colour fixer triple pots….pink, green, and blue…hides all my flaws and rosacea completely . I put it on after primer and before BB&B. I use the medium in summer and the fair in winter…and don’t they last forever???? Not hit pan yet! Thanks for the video….Huge fan of the brand too! Xx

Thank you for doing this video. My bronzer in that pallet is so light that it comes off as just shiny peach. I love the rest. I use the brighter highlighter at the inner corner and it’s beautiful. I got my pallet on her website on sale with the foundation powder. The lip balm stick you used is my favorite. I have a different shade but it is so balmy and moisturizing. I use an Elf powder puff and get full coverage with my Laura Gellar Balance & Brighten. I have the old one and I love i!! It turns into a cream on my skin and I do have to powder it. I have combo skin. I love the Laura Gellar makeup!! I especially love the Laura Gellar over sunscreen. It makes it feel less heavy.

Happy Saturday, Emily! You gave me my first introduction into the world of Laura Geller and her baked cosmetics, and THANK YOU! I’m 57 and any liquid foundation I use “sharpens” any lines, and emphasizes my pores. It is SO frustrating! I used Bare Minerals and some other mineral foundations for quite awhile, and most of them looked wonderful on my skin. Unfortunately, many of the mineral formulations contain Bismuth, which made my skin itchy, and the loose powders were quite messy on top of it. Then along came you with Laura! Her baked formula has never irritated my skin. The compacts are well made, so the products travel well. Some of Laura’s foundation shades are a bit yellow on my very fair, very cool-toned skin, but I can easily make them work with a bit more bronzer. Again, THANK YOU!

LG did have a pallette years ago that had 5 eyeshadow, Tahiti glow, 2 blushes, a medium bronze and brighten, and french vanilla and portfolio highlighters. It was white with a pink damask print. She needs to bring that back!

I have a tip for anyone who may have had their baked and brighten baked foundation come off the tile. If you stick about 2-3 cotton rounds on top of the product, it keeps it in the compact tight and keeps it from breaking. Mine came off the tile on the bottom, but didn’t break. So I just sit the cotton rounds on top and it keeps it in there without tossing around inside the compact.

I’m so happy to see you review this palette! I know I’ve recommended it a couple of times on here as it’s my all time favorite. I have 2. One blush is similar to yours, the other is a little lighter like your single. Both bronzers are deeper than yours so maybe you just got one with more of the highlighter swirls. It’s great for travel and don’t sleep on French vanilla as eyeshadow for an even more natural, pretty eye look (with almond as a powder liner).

My favorite line!! I use Laura Geller as foundation a lot. Love it. You are right about the swirls looking different. I guess not every one is alike. I had that palette and I got a very light pink buttercream in my palette. Yours looks deeper and I gave it to my mom and I got the other face palette with more shadows in tuscan dreams and love the blush in that in starfish island. I love the bronzer and use that Tahitian sunset but also use Tuscan sun for me since I need more depth. My husband stole my Tahitian sunset and uses it. 😂 I have at least 10 of her blushes and I noticed kosas has some out that mimic hers but I have enough and won’t be getting the Kosas. These last so long. I use the golden medium and it’s perfect for me and when I have a tan, use the tan balance and brighten. It’s really adaptable. Thanks for sharing this. ❤

Tried the foundation. I have quite young-looking skin, barely any wrinkles. All this did was accentuate the few minor wrinkles that I do have, and set into the creases around my nose to make them even more defined. I've tried it with different primers, setting spray... I've tried everything, and it just ADDS 10+ years to my face!

I use the French vanilla as an under eye setting powder. Love it. And I’m usually a light in foundations. My light is way too dark. I had to get fair. I can finally wear the light after a 2 week sunny vacation, first time been able to wear it. I love the baked balance and bright foundation. It is not drying on my dry skin. And I love the bronze primer. The primer is very hydrating too. This is my first time with these Laura Gellar products. I have and have used the eyeliners too. Am getting the big eyeliner soon to try. Also love the cream stick blushes. Love your channel. ❤

I'm a huge fan of Laura Geller's powder foundation. It's perfect on my aging face with lines and wrinkles. No settling and always looks natural. I've found a couple of really nice LG eye pallettes at TJMaxx and Marshalls for under $10 for 10 or 14 shades. Her shadows aren't super pigmented which at first disappointed me. But then I realized the soft wash of color is much more flattering.

I have been using Laura Geller foundation for about a week now and I like it. I went from using no foundation to this and I like the light coverage that doesn't feel sticky or heavy like a cream foundation. I like her retractable brush, too. I have worn her eyeshadow once and look forward to playing with it more. I may get the spackle and the blush next. Not sure yet. Tfs.

Great video!!! ❤As much as I love Laura Geller and have been rocking her since the 2007. I had the entire balance and brighten set, eyeshadows, loved her eyeliners, the blushes, highlighters, her lip oil before they were trendy. I was an avid supporter. However I am not happy with her shade range. She seems stuck in time. I ordered her Double take in Honey when it was on sale, can't wear it because the shade is so off and there aren't enough shades to choose from. 😢 So I haven't bought anything else from her. I do love Italian baked make up ever since I went to Italy and bought a loose powder in my shade (yea I was happily surprised myself) I was in love. So now I use Sephora's micro smooth baked powders which are superb, and they have a wider range of shades. 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

I love Laura Geller products! I got the 4 set eye and face palettes at Christmas time. I think that is their annual holiday set. They are my go to everyday palettes. I’m 44 with dry to normal light skin tone . The balance and brighten I use as my bronzer. Mine seems darker than yours but not extremely. It’s easy to put on a little or build it up. Her makeup is definitely great for all skin ages!

I ordered a new balance and brighten and had to get the fair shade to mix in with the shade light because it was a bit to dark for my winter shade. The one I was replacing was medium. It is definitely not the same color as before. Also I recently tried the Jane Iradell powder foundation and it is amazing. Maybe one to try.

I use the baked French Vanilla as a setting powder on the inner and outer corners of my eyes. I carry it up just a bit from the outer corner onto the temple for a great brightening lift to the eye (after I'm done applying eye shadow).

I'm so glad this works for you. Laura Gellar baked foundation emphasized every tiny line I have. It also took 6 weeks to finally get the product to try. The first two orders included everything except the foundation. The third order had the wrong foundation. After receiving the correct foundation, i had a total of four brushes-four primers-one foundation.

I've been waiting for you to review this palette! Getting into Laura Geller since I'm approaching 40 living in a humid climate...liquid foundations just don't really work for me any more. Thanks for mentioning the formula change because I was going through your older LG videos and the medium I got recently is SO MUCH darker than the medium you were showcasing! Unfortunately the Balance and Brighten foundation oxidizes on me like crazy... but the Double Take doesn't seem to do that, so I may use Double Take as my base and then Balance n Brighten as a light bronzer around my face perimeter.

I replaced my Balance and brighten last month, i used to use the medium shade, this time around it’s too dark and pink and had to order the light one. Not sure what they’ve done with the formula, but it is still a solid 10 for me.

It's possible the formula is different or that the powder changes over time as it dries out. I found an old Balance n Brighten in Light in the back of my drawer. It was a very dark color and couldn't wear it, unless I was very, very tan, and that's a big stretch. I've repurchased the powder in Porcelain and the bronzer in light, and they are perfection. I'm reaching for the powder more than in the past and really enjoying it on light makeup days. I had that same palette years ago, and it was fabulous on a cruise. Eventually, one of the pans cracked, and it wasn't available to purchase for a while. I repurchased it a few months ago and love it once again. LG powder products are very underrated.
