Hello Brian, Emily and Wez, wow, what a beautiful place to call home, I was shocked as to how lovely it is, big thumbs up ! It makes where I live look really dull ! I'm only joking, I have open views from my French Longère, I face south, only three houses on our road, ten minutes from the beautiful old town of Pouancé. So yes I have it good as well, The cows have gone 🎉, but it gets worse, Mavis is now barking at the Heron's that land in the field next to the river and they also keep moving ! She's worn herself out and has gone upstairs to bed 🛏️ ! How funny ! Lots of love from Mark and a very tired Mavis xx

Thanks for sharing!! I would love to see more of Tahoe. I live in CA and haven’t been to Tahoe. It is on my travel list. When would you say is a good time to go to ride a bike and hike with the weather still be nice? Late Spring or early Fall? I am not a fan of snow. Lol. I don’t have kids in the house so I can travel any time of the year. Enjoyed the video!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Our favorite time of year is late Sept/early Oct. There can still be snow on the hiking/biking trails in spring, so fall is probably a better bet. If it does snow in the fall, it’s usually melted in a day or two. Hope you can visit soon!

@@priscillawhinery9581 Wow, you’re already planning a trip for 4 years? That must be something special and I’m sure you’re excited! There will probably be some changes between now and then (new/updated hotels, places to eat, trails, etc.), so I’d suggest starting to put your itinerary together about a year out. Between now and then, definitely do some research to see what side of the lake you’d prefer to stay on. The north and south shores are very different as far as accommodations and amenities, so that’s probably the first thing to decide. Do you want more nightlife, restaurants, casinos, tours, etc.? Then South Shore is probably best. Want more of the small town feel? Then North Shore is better. Let us know if you have any other questions we can help with! All our best.

Lake Tahoe probably the last beautiful place California/ Nevada ….. no homeless camps at least hopefully not ….. possibly in the woods

@@TonyPhillips-jy7ev Agreed. There are a few homeless, but you don’t see them very much and you definitely don’t see any camps. The winters would be pretty harsh to try and live in a tent.
