The saying is Women, Children and Dogs are loved unconditionally. Men are needed for what they provide. Sorry, but even in the bible it commands husbands to love their wives, it doesn't say that about the wives, only to submit and obey their husbands. It is more than think different, they are fundamentally incapable of understanding and being anything close to a man's logic and love. Not that they are bad, just totally different and until men realize what is going on, it will continue to get worse and women in society will continue with unrealistic expectations.

To be clear men have to be the provider can protectors and therefore love for what we can provide to the relationship. We are not like women. You're really missing the problem. I'm not trying to insult you here. I just want people to understand the actual problem. The actual problem is that why wouldn't you still expecting from us, we don't even get love or respect for those things we provide. They act like they tolerate us or act like they love us if we meet their expectations but I don't see the respect. For example you better make good money and provide the lifestyle they want and offer protection and so on. But they won't count any of that stuff as adding value. Halo still say that no matter what of these things you provide you still have to do half of what they would be expected to provide or want to provide. So you have to meet all of your obligations and half of theirs. Another example is you bar like we doing the job that is much harder physically and mentally than hers, if she works. But because both of them are cold work she treats them as equal and doesn't respect your sacrifices for the family well being. Another example of how in most relationships to this day women still want men to lead as far as being the main provider. But she won't actually give you the power that goes along with it or the respect that goes along with it

There have ALWAYS been some terrible women out there; the trick, is to learning how to socialize with enough women so that you can find the good ones. There is no shortcut; you have to get used to talking to women without assuming that you have to get into her pants NOW NOW NOW NOW. There are NO magic pick up lines. You have to learn how to notice the women who already notice you. The biggest mistake men make, is pursuing women who aren't interested in you, essentially, 'barking up the wrong tree', just because YOU think she's hot. If you are unable to figure these things out, then you need to subscribe to one of the many courses out there about confidence, charisma, etc., start with Leil Lowndes' 'Undercover Sex Signals', which will show you how to recognize women's confusing 'non verbal' behavior that indicates she's already attracted to YOU. Good luck. All the information is out there, all you have to do is find it, and READ. Memorize the steps if necessary, do what you have to do. Just sitting back and complaining isn't going to help.

Lady you hit the points squarely and accurately. I was dating a woman last year who was 44, never married, no children and didn't like to be around children and worshipped her cat. A few months went by and she seemed really well grounded, happy and reasonable. I spent slightly over $10k on a wedding ring set and asked her to marry me. We'd known each other in a professional and personal way for over a year. She refused the ring and instead told me that with the money I make I would be able to afford a much more expensive stone but she'd already picked it out and it would cost me $26,400.00. I just let that stew in my head for a while. I bought us 1st Class tickets to fly to the Island of St. Maarten for an 8 day stay. The room I got us was top shelf with a balcony looking out over the ocean and we'd also be able to watch the planes take off and land. I walked out of the room for a bit and when I walked back in, she was on the phone with the resort explaining we simply must have the penthouse at an extra $1,000.00 per night. When she was put on hold I asked her what she was doing. She stated that if I expected her to have a good time we simply MUST rent the penthouse. I took my phone from her and told the reservationist that the room I'd already booked would be just fine for us. She screamed and threw a tantrum as if she were a two-year-old demanding a chocolate bar at the grocery check-out line. I stood my ground and told her she was being unreasonable and damned unappreciative.. She stormed out and drove away in her $60,000.00 Mercedes convertible. She came over the next day though still pissed with me we seemed to be working things out. The straw that broke the camel's back is when she told me that I'd have to buy her a brand new Mercedes if I expected her to marry me. I told her she needed to leave because I had some things to think about. She left. I immediately called a locksmith and had every door lock in my home re-keyed. Entitled indeed!

When you find an interesting conservative woman, start going regularly and make friends to try to date. Take it slow and only show your financial capability after you're confident that the woman likes you more than your wallet. I think your previous profile has only attracted gold diggers. < About me: I am a Christian man with a woman who has loved, respected, and cared for me since 1997. Once, I had abdominal pain in the middle of the night and thought about going to the doctor in the morning. But at that moment, my wife insisted that I get in the car, and she drove me to the hospital. I was placed in an isolated observation area. She bypassed the security guards and reached where I was because she wasn’t satisfied with just the nurse’s information. It wasn’t anything serious, and I was fine the next day. I brought a Bible but ended up giving it as a gift to someone who was in the emergency room next to me. > Congrats from Brazil.

Seems to me you can't have it both ways. If you want to be a passive woman, and can trust your spouse to take care of you (him being a servant leader) then go for that. But if you want to be a modern woman, then take all of it with the pros and cons. If a modern man is dominant, then he is an aggressive @sshole who should be canceled. As a soon-to-be once-more unmarried man, a LOT of these hit very close to home, but the one that hits the hardest really is #1. My wife is a very motivated and driven woman, who has a very clear sense of how things not only _should_ be done, but _need_ to be done, and she doesn't do well with flexibility about the fact that I have different (and yet still sufficiently effective) ways of doing things. No, she'll still happily just barge in, shove me off to the side from something I'm working on in a way that she's not satisfied with, and just take over the task. And how dare I be bothered by it? Hell, just about the day before we agreed to "just be roommates," I'd tried to have a word with her about the way that I was in trouble with her and her daughter for "not helping put up Christmas decorations." I'd tried saying, "I really was working on a project for work that day," and that she "could have asked me if that was a good day for me to work on decorations," but she refused to recognize any mishandling on her part. I should have been the one to be proactive in communicating that I had actual work to do, and it wasn't "her job to hold my hand in being a good partner and father." She's _very much_ allergic to taking responsibility for what she does. And yeah, she even has a group of online female friends, who she has readily admitted have guy-bashing sessions. That... really didn't sit well with me, especially when she added, one time, that "I was included." Yeah. Great motivational work.

After that you negotiate with your girl for sucky (around $50) or fucky (around $100) and YOU must initiate this conversation. At least that’s how it was 10 years ago. Strangely I have a customer my age at work who’s been asking me about this very thing. And speaking of sponges (og), the massage comes with a sponge bath.

I dated one girl in my early teens for a few months but that's about all the romantic interest I've managed to inspire. It has bothered me for decades and I used to agonize over it, wonder what was wrong with me. I've enjoyed the company of a lot of wonderful Women, all either Married or otherwise unavailable. Those that Weren't married but were dating someone usually would come to me as a sounding board for their guy problems and I got tired of being a relationship councilor for their terrible choices. It just always seems like I'm not seen as a potential love interest but as a nice guy that is pleasant company and would help you out if he could, like everyone's brother. Time does amazing things, and with enough of it I've managed to reach a level of acceptance. I'm still lonely and I still have my moments but for the most part I get by with help from my friends and my hobbies keep me busy. At this point it just is what it is, and I don't make the grade when it comes to the laundry list of requirements in the modern dating scene.

Yep. 100%. My best friend’s now wife, which is an issue in itself, flirted with an ex at a bar we all went to one time while she was drunk, my friend saw, and she denied everything and any wrongdoing. It’s messed up they’re married now, since I truly think they’ll divorce at some point. But she never, ever took any accountability for her wrongdoing. I really appreciate your style and graceful advocacy Emily 😌 Soon to be 66, I’ve arrived at life alone after four failed marriages. Looking back, I should have heeded warning signs that I thought could be worked out with teamwork. Sadly, the only person on the team was me. I never lost hope, never became a woman hater even after the trials. While on a couples date some years ago, a waitress brought some bottled beer and glasses to our table. Before I could reach for my beer, the gal in the other couple reached over, picked up my beer, and calmly filled my glass. She had my full attention at that point and as I looked at her intently, she explained she had spent some time in Japan, and women there do that as a sign of respect. She was already married, so I could not honorably leave there with her. Men can and will love a committed woman partner, sometimes fearfully so. Men however, would rather be respected than loved. To us, respect IS love. Thank you for your respect Emily.

Back in the day I found a friend (who would become my best friend) I would visit his place often. One time I brought my girl along and she would fire shots constantly at me while we were there. Granted, I think she would do it out of dis-comfort. Maybe she thought she was breaking the ice because she hadn't hung out with him that much. But it kinda sucked. Her feeling like she could just rip up on me the whole visit at my friend's place. Felt pretty dumb. She left and I hung out with my friend for a bit after and he sat down with me and said "Hey man you okay? She kinda said some messed up stuff. I could sense she was joking around but I wasn't liking what she was saying about you." One of the reasons that dude became my best friend. And was a huge support for me when I left her couple years later. Honestly he has taught me what it means to be a real man these days. Not all of us have the best father figures to help us, so im grateful for him. Now days I would never tolerate that kind of disrespect from a partner. I had a lot to learn back then. And she was so aggressive, controlling, and volatile that preserving the peace with her was easier if I just let her walk all over me. If I told her how I felt, it never really ended well. ALWAYS became about her. Girl messed me up honestly lol. Its taken a lot of work to pick up all the pieces. Sorry for the trauma dump.

I’d have to say #10 is really a big one. When I’m out in public the cute 25-35 year olds seem to all be wearing these “leave me alone” sneers. I’ve even tried to talk to some of them and been met with nasty replies and unpleasantness. Most seem to have really bad attitudes! Also their delusional evaluation of their own self-worth is extremely frustrating. I know a hottie when I see one (I used to subscribe to Playboy) and I avoid what I believe to be “high maintenance.” However the girls who are simply cute seem to think they deserve a rich studmuffin! So they choose to ignore the 5’8”, charming, funny guy with the nice smile who has his life together but isn’t rich so they can hold out hope for the gorgeous tycoon who will NEVER be interested in them! This phenomenon is very real and NOBODY wins this game. I was told many times I have a great smile but these women piss me off so much it’s really hard to ever smile!

Some of these women you describe get the "gorgeous tycoon", but only for a few nights. I spoke with her and said to her, my impression is that he can have a lot of women and she confirmed immediately that he could have a lot of women. She told me about her female friends that all of them are waiting for their prince to come. Funny she is doing the same.

This about sums it up! Number one for me, would be the normalization of women with high body counts, and open relationships. It has become socially acceptable for women to boast that they have high body counts. This proves that most modern women don’t care about what men actually want/value. Men don’t want a woman who has been run through more times than the Holland tunnel; we just don’t! Men are being shamed for this preference, among other preferences; we are also being socially conditioned into accepting open relationships/polyamory. Anything that deviates from whatever WOMEN want, is classified as toxic and misogynistic. …In all honesty, most modern women are just downright deplorable and exhausting. Relationships just are no longer worth it. 🤦🏻

Instead she barraged me with her insecurities in an absolute toxic waste of ways. Entitled to the teeth, always blaming "I'm a woman" or "this is what I'm like" and always put every blame for whatever she cooked up in her mind on me. And in the end yes; she felt entitled to an equivalent of 3k dollars that were mine. We dated for a year. I've received 1/3 of the money back, going on six months after break up.

Of course there's no accountability. Women are being told left and right about how they are perfect. Perfection _has_ no flaws, perfection _has_ no weaknesses. There is no need to grow or better oneself because there _is_ no better than perfect. The only way women can ever be held accountable is if they're no longer being told that they are all perfect... and as long as women are responsible for 80% of consumer decisions, that'll cost society money.

All of your comments are about how women are the problem and none of them list anything the men have done to contribute to the issue.
@mickbenson916111 ай бұрын
@StormyHallahan We men absolutely contribute to the issues in today's dating market. Simping, placating delusions, playing along with contrived concepts that go against every evolved human instinct, pretending to accept disrespect or promiscuity in the hopes that it will give us sexual access, beating off to p%rn, letting ourselves go physically, not being the best men we can be, not taking responsibility, not being the protectors and providers we're supposed to be, etc. The f%cked up state of the mating market is complex with many contributing factors, and both men and women have to take responsibility for it. I've been in a (declining) relationship for years now, so I've been out of the market since before dating apps were a thing, but now it seems like everything is coming to a head. My relationship has been going down the drain in recent years, but when I look at the state of affairs out there, it's not tempting to get back out there. I've never had a dating app profile, but from what I can gather, it's not worth it for men because of how skewed everything has gotten. Average women are bombarded by simps and develop inflated ideas of their own mating value. Because they're able to sleep with the top 10% of guys on the apps, they think they can get commitment from one of those guys. Many of them are delusional about the fact that they're sharing this tiny pool of guys with all the other women. 80% of guys are practically invisible. Everything seemingly got f%cked up when our evolved human nature, developed over hundreds of thousands of years, met modern artificial concepts like the pill, dating app algorithms, social media, AI filters, or societal constructs like 3rd wave feminism. In the context of millennia of human evolution, these things have only been around for a minute. It's not the reality we were made for. For all of human history, if a woman slept with 11 guys (a whole soccer team), she'd have multiple children. Now, many women have had tons of male sexual partners from sleeping around in their teens and 20s, and then they expect men to accept this when they're 30 and want kids. No thanks. We need to go back to the way nature designed us. We need to bring back concepts like dignity, respect, class, honor, love, devotion, adoration, and other concepts that got killed off by hook-up culture and individualism. We're victims of our own evolved nature.

She shared a lot about her past, and many relationships, traumas and problems and I likewise shared a lot with her. I saw for sure one red flag with her and she likely saw at least a few red flags in me. I kept getting the feeling that my life would get harder being married to her. Even though I will always love her, she didn’t go through the effort of moving 1000 miles from central Montana to east central Minnesota, and I didn’t go through the huge amount of work selling a majority of my stuff to move to where she lives. She found another guy and married him in late 2020 and I’m happy for her.

I think one of the most frustrating things is when some Women ask "Where are all the good Men?" while at the same time ignoring such good Men as dating prospects and continually going after Men that don't necessarily treat them well. Meanwhile the good Men have their hands up "hello Ladies, I'm here!" yet some Women just aren't interested. I was originally going to write that good Men are invisible to many Women - however that would just be excusing the behavior of asking where are all the good Men but then ignoring them - Ladies, if good Men are invisible to you then something deeply deeply wrong is going on - surely if you are a heterosexual Woman than you should find these good Men at least somewhat attractive - they are Men and you are a heterosexual Woman - how on ever loving Earth can they be invisible to you?! I'm not saying that you are necessarily going to have insane levels of attraction for every single good Man you meet, but surely you must have some level of attraction for a typical Mr. Nice guy! In any case, if you keep ignoring the good guys then you can't seriously ask "Where are all the good Men?" - that is like being in a giant buffet - 1000 times larger than any buffet you have ever seen - and whining and asking "There is no food to eat! - where is all the good food?" - Ladies, with all due respect and all the love in my heart - Open your eyes!!!!!!!! Of course, to be fair, some seemingly nice guys can turn out to not really be that nice (I suppose just like some food) - you still need to be careful and be wise and proceed with some level of caution - but for the ladies that ask "Where are all the good Men?" but then turn around and actively go after Men that don't particularly treat them well - then I'm sorry, but with all due respect and all the love in my heart, you only have yourself to blame.

This touches on accountability. When women swipe left on roughly 95% of men, nobody states the obvious conclusion that they are way too picky. Nobody calls them out for ignoring men simply for being short or not making a massive salary and so on. Nobody dares to explain to women how toxic their hypergamy is and how it transforms abundance into scarcity and isolation. Nor do women ever learn that Chad is not going to settle down. He will wine and dine. He will pump and dump, but he is not looking for more and yet you manage to con yourselves into thinking you can change him and you wind up getting hurt and jaded. Yet you never learn and you simply repeat the same asd melody over and over, growing more bitter with each refrain. Women feel entitled to top tier men, the ones who make the wet just from looking at them. Nobody ever tells them that they need expand their range of what they can desire. It really is not hard. Men do it all the time. We focus on the things we like about a woman's physical manifestation and let the rest slide. Sure, we would all love to be with Raquel Welch in her prime, but we don't simply ignore the rest. If Raquel is not available, we will go for Susan Sarandon. If she is not available, Meg Ryan. If she is not available, Roseanne Barr. Not one of us would have picked Roseanne first, but we will still be happy if that is who we get. Women don't do this. Their entitlement makes them too egotistical to "settle". The convince themselves that being alone is better. Pretty gross, huh?

It is coupled with their need to always be right, even when they are wrong. They will offer thanks, but that is the extent of their reciprocity. Hmm, apology........ I had to work very hard for one when she dismantled and then threw half of a spec built computer because I walked out and she didn't think I was coming back and also I didn't use the computer. I pointed out to her that I still did use the computer to which she responded I didn't know. I only got an apology when I suggested that as nothing of hers was in the shed that I had built specifically as an office when I had my own business, there was no need to go in the room. She still argued the toss saying that it was a fire hazard with extension leads coming off extension leads and that a spark from the road could set the plastic cladding on fire. I reminded her that: I was a part qualified electrician Whenever I was not in my office I killed all electricity to the sockets The cladding that was on my office had been extruded in a company that I had worked for and had to be both flameproof and fireproof for the company to be able to sell it. I then advised her that as she had thrown away half the computer and I had come back to the house to file a tacx return, which I could now no longer do as the screen wouldn't work owing to the boot procedure so I couldn't reconfigure the computer. The apology finally came at the end of this part of the conversation when I then said, as you never used the shed or the equipment in the shed, don't you think you should have ASKED before you touched my stuff, let alone throw it away. It was at THIS point, she finally apologised for throwing the stiff away. UNBELIEVABLE AND UP TO THAT POINT SHE STILL THOUGHT SHE WAS JUSTIFIED IN HER ACTIONS AND HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG!! Just wondering how much of my other stuff she has thrown away (especially stuff of sentimental value) that I had had for over 50 years. Sorry for the shaggy dog story and congratulations to those of you who managed to get to the end without falling asleep 😂

A lot of the attention goes to women and what they want and what they are frustrated about but there's hardly any for the average guys out there, no body cares about about the average man. Even in those dating podcasts the male hosts and guests there are usually red pill men that do not represent the average man in our society. Your voice brings out what the average guys have been thinking and saying and I respect and appreciate that. A common joke/reality statement among men about relationships these days is that it is cheaper and easier when you discuss the money up front. Yes, this is a comparison between dating and prostitution - and for a lot of guys who have been through a couple of relationships, there isn’t that much of a difference in what we get out of it, it’s just we have to put so much more into a dating relationship than if we were hiring an escort. Also, I must agree that I find it really amusing when I see women on social media calling themselves a “ten”, whose personality and attitude in the clip are horrible, who are honestly physically a 5 out of 10 and who really don’t bring anything else to the relationship - they don’t have any kind of skill set that enhances the relationship (most don’t even seem to have a sense of humour let alone be funny or interesting to talk to) Bluntly, most of the girls I have met are a lot of work for little more than an expensive sex toy. I am still looking for someone who has more to offer than that, but sex is only about 10% of what makes a functioning relationship work.

OP Emily, you are one of the few women that even see the problem with dating modern women, and they run deep in our culture. Men have never had an easy time approaching women and nowadays it sounds even harder than it's ever been. I wouldn't know, since I haven't tried to approach a woman in years, but I know it's even harder than it used to be, and I can't imagine what most of these young guys have to go through now. And making it even worse, there are women out there, not the majority thank God, but way too many, that actually get a cruel gratification by batting their eyelashes, touching her hair and otherwise sending out every positive signal flirting with some poor guy, only to blow him off like lint when he actually falls for it. I actually watched this happen once... and I knew what was going on even if he didn't. To make it even worse for him, she was with a group of girls when he got up the gumption to approach her. I felt bad for him when he stumbled off, red faced and humiliated by her rejection. Only to hear a gale of laughter from this coven of witches, as soon as they thought the poor guy was out of ear-shot!

One woman I used to work with would talk about the men that approach her like they were creeps. And from listening to her it sounded like some were just being friendly with no ill intent. And she wasn't the only one who talked that way. That definitely makes me think twice. It may just have been her way not coping with her mixed feelings but how are we supposed to know
@Jazzmaster1992 Жыл бұрын
Part of me thinks this narrative that men have to be masculine and lead because of their biology/sex is breeding some form of expectation and entitlement among certain women. I don't necessarily mind asking a woman out if I find her attractive and want to get to know her more. The problem is when she believes that is just something that I'm "supposed" to do because I'm a man, and may not really appreciate the effort required to make this happen, i.e. spending the time socializing and building my confidence. This extends to other aspects of relationships and mens' expected roles in them as well. Supposedly, men are supposed to lead, take charge, and generally bring some level of strength, security and comfort to the relationship. So if as a man, I put in the effort to cultivate these qualities within myself, the last thing I want is for them to be taken advantage of by the wrong person. We men are constantly told that women/society owe us nothing, which is fine. But then, I don't think it's unreasonable to say the reverse is true; outside of basic human decency and respect, women are not "owed" traditional masculine qualities like strength, security and comfort to be provided to them by a man in a relationship, regardless of whether they believe in traditional gender roles and the idea that men "should" be a certain way or not.
@BigTyronie Жыл бұрын
If you are that guy you approach because its how you get what you want. Its this reasoning and questioning of systems that functioned perfectly fine for thousands if years thats leaving all this wiggle room for women to domineer as they are trying to. Owning the space is where men fail and let women start acting like men.
@Jazzmaster1992 Жыл бұрын
@@BigTyronie it wasn't even that long ago that before you took a woman's hand in marriage, you asked her parents first, instead of directly asking her. And before that, we simply had arranged marriages. Not to mention, this concept of modern romance is just that, modern; specifically, ideals about the "one" and not simply two people pooling together to share resources and strength in order to rear children, not because they are pre-ordained soulmates. So a lot of what we see as commonplace understanding and "traditional" in relationships like courtship practices are not actually thousands of years old.

ACCOUNTABILITY HELL YES. It's fine to be upset at the circumstances that caused one to make a mistake, it's fine to be angry at someone else's actions that motivated one to make the wrong decision, BUT only if you own your actions. Everyone should have learned this sort of thing when they were 10. Just because someone hit you on the playground doesn't make it "ok" to hit them back. Own it, as early as possible, maybe try to correct it or have an idea of how to not do it again, and it will go SO FAR to minimizing the damage done. Work with each other when someone fucks up. You shouldn't want to work against your partner. I know it's uncomfortable and tough to do this, but it gets easier with practice and I promise, it will not be NEARLY as bad as if it comes out some other way.

I had a female friend who was going thru a rough patch in her marriage, and I heard everything wrong her husband did, ad nauseam. Well, during a road trip, hubby shoved her out of car and left her in the middle of no where. I got a call and dropped what I was doing to pick her up and offer to let her stay at my house. She claimed her husband was violent and needed a restraining order. But she refused to stay at a women’s shelter, since sleeping in a bunk bed was beneath her. After 2 weeks, I got a very clear picture she was also responsible for why the marriage was failing; her neighbors concurred with me. After a road trip with her for a weekend, my car’s transmission started failing, and I knew I needed to be cautious to avoid being stranded on a highway. I drove down, out of the mountains, to try and avoid being stranded in the middle of nowhere. She got mad that I would not keep driving in the mountains so we could continue hiking, oblivious to my situation (and stupid, did not know what a transmission did). Next day, I ended up renting a U-haul and trailer to drive my car back to town (we were out of state). She complained about most restaurants and wanted to only eat gourmet sit down meals. I was uncomfortable driving the U-Haul and told her I was only going to stop at a truck stop where there was room for me to park. She refused to eat at Subway and then complained later that she was hungry. By the time we arrived home, I had to take a walk and call a friend so I wouldn’t blow up. I am usually patient, and don’t blow up easily. I think she was one of the most obstinate people I’ve ever met, and I began to understand why her husband had a melt down, and realized how much he actually DID restrain himself. The most he did was shove her on 2 occasions. While staying at my house, I asked if she could cover her food expenses. In spite of her working and having an ample money stash (probably took some of her husband’s money and hid it), she got mad about having to buy her own food. She literally had the expectation other people should pay for her food. And of course, she had quite a shopping habit. The shopping habit was another story in itself. I ended the friendship after becoming concerned she might steal from me, and how disrespectful and critical she was with something important to me. I had asked her to stop. She refused and doubled down being critical, convinced she was right, while totally ignoring how I felt or why I had asked her to stop. So….is this type of behavior common with other younger women? She was in her mid 30s. I am older. I was taken aback how difficult she was. When I first met her, she seemed a nice person who liked to have fun. I did not see the underlying selfishness and obstinacy.

My great grandmother was a feminist. But she did things differently. When other women were involved in the suffragettes movement she got herself elected to five consecutive terms on the town council. The least amount she won by was with 81% of the vote, ALL MEN. The first one was in 1905 15 years before women got the vote. She wasn't even eligible to vote for herself due to being female. My great grandmother owned multiple businesses, she was a midwife who delivered more babies than all the doctors in her county combined. She was the first licensed female driver in her county, third licensed driver in her county and 7th licensed driver in the state. When the began licensing drivers it was unthinkable that a woman would apply for a license but there was no law against it so she got her license after her dad bought her Maxwell. After that the state stopped issuing driver's licenses to females, not as required by law but as policy. That would be reversed in a couple of years but she was grandfathered, or rather grandmothered in so she was for a while the only woman in several county's who drove. At the age of 72 she was in a rough part of the capitol city when two young thugs attempted to rob her. In seconds she disarmed both of them then marched them 20+ blocks to the police station. When the police asked why she didn't take them to the closer police station only three blocks from where she encountered the boys she said they needed to have some time to think about what they have come to. Both immediately confessed to the police and were crying their eyes out by the time they reached the police station. I already mentioned she was a midwife and a very popular one at that. But she gave birth to all six of her children including my grandmother by her self with no assistance, no drugs nothing! To be fair, her mother, grandmother, great grandmother going back centuries had all been healers and midwives so she had a lot of knowledge on the issue. That said, with all that to brag about. With all of her accomplishments of which I have named only a few, she still treated my great grandfather as the king of the castle. She still made time for him. I have THOUSANDS of photographs she took of him and other people took of her and him and the family and one thing you can see from those photos is her love and devotion to her husband, family and her marriage vows. She was loyal to the end. When he died she commissioned a monument maker to make him the biggest head stone in the cemetery. The epitaph read "The only man worthy of his wife." There is one photo that my grandmother took of the two of them. It was taken the day before he died. He is laying in his bed obviously ill and my great grandmother is kneeling at his bedside her head on his chest and her hair draped all over his torso. She is holding his hand clutching it to her heart and the expression on her face I've never seen on anyone else's face. I would call it a combination of love, grief and pride. This is the only photo that exists showing her hair not in a bun. It was obviously at least waist length. I point this out only because it is a profoundly unusual pose for the period. I don't believe it was posed though. My grandmother even in her early twenties, when her Dad died, was an expert at candid photography. The photo was taken in 1924. not one of the thousands of other photos of dozens of adult women in our family in that time period ever let themselves be photographed with their hair down. I have not one of my grandmother that way but by all accounts she had incredibly long hair as did her three sisters. Even the youngest sister at the age of 80 in 1994 never let herself be photographed with her hair down. She explained to me once that doing so was considered immodest in her day. I don't know any other way to explain the significance of that photo or the gesture or how deep their love was.

You are wonderful, emily. Such a pleasant voice. Answering: Men are forced to evaluate risk. The risk of Western women is very high; the rewards are low. Men don't want a "strong, independent woman". They want a partner. Or they go back to solitude, which is actually a very nice place to be- for men. I did a VisionQuest, myself, years ago, after my 2nd divorce, and it totally changed my life. Primitive cultures don't have the time or resources for BS. They have to live truth- or die. Native Americans would have a 15 year old girl walk down a line of corn- with instructions to pick ONLY THE BEST of the corn. And they couldn't turn back, they had to keep going forward. Invariably, the girl would get to the end of the line, with nothing. The older woman would observe that many things, including men, were like this- to get "good enough" when you have the opportunity. There are no soulmates, any more than there are fairies dancing in the fields at twilight. There are imperfect people. Women wanted everything men have... now they have it, and they are upset... 1 in 3 women have had an abortion, has an STD... 80% of women consort with 20% of men. 10% of men are 6'1". Women find 80% of men ugly. I visited Austria, years ago, as part of a honeymoon [she went nuts, I had to divorce her for my own safety] We did the Sound of Music tour, which is nice. We saw the palace in the movie Amadeus. The von Trapp house in the movie had a front from one house, and a back from another house. Nice tour. At one point, the tour guide bemoaned the loss of Jewish merchants- who always had low prices, were great businessmen. There was a concentration camp not far from that area. Over half of SS troops were Austrian. All I could think of, was, well, it's not like your people made Jews feel very welcome, did you... I am so very amused, listening to women ask where all the good men went. Uhh, yeah. The good men go dark, they drop into brush, and vanish from view, as any prey animal would, when a predator is around. Years ago, I went to a martial arts class, in a college town. There were women 30-60 there. All poisonously feminist. And... and... all of them knew that Prince Charming was right around the corner, waiting for the right conjunction of Venus and Mars, to marry them, put them on a $5K/month allowance, buy the big house for them, the vacations in Europe, and to lavish attention on them, despite their constant disrespect for him. They based these on the documentaries they watched- you know, soap operas, Hallmark movies, romance novels, and so on, which are always precisely accurate depictions of real human daily life. And the only reason they didn't have that fairytale life was male oppression. I put on my cloak of invisibility- aka being a beta male- and just listened. I learned much. Of course they later decided that the instructor, a black man, was somehow sexually harassing them during the course. I have spent enough time on VisionQuests and other spiritual stuff that I can lavish love on people, just be turning on the flow. Around those women? Cloak of invisibility. If you need to get rid of a woman fast- just start crying. Works like a charm. Or otherwise act beta- you know, talk about your feelings, just like the feminists tell you. They're gone. I remember a woman about 55 in college- like this- she was desperately dating professors, to find Mr. RIghtWallet. They'd date her, but cut her off after one date. She had a little problem- nuclear waste grade resentment, plus a drinking problem. Oddly enough, Dr. RightWallet was doing his risk assessment. I had no status- just a student assistant- she invited me to dinner, I brought my girlfriend at the time- and Madame Battleaxe got sarcastic, and abusive, to the point we had to leave. THis was like 1981. My grandmother worked. AT HOME. Monday was wash day. No washing machines; it was done by hand. You had to scrub out stains- by hand. Tuesday was ironing day- with flatirons. It took a while. No mixes back then; you bought your flour and sugar in bulk. In 1944, it cost 8c/lb. Only after WW II did prepackaged mixes come out. Wednesday was mending day- clothes were expensive, they had to be repaired. Thursday was baking day, you baked bread for the week. My grandmother taught, before marrying. Her husband told her he made enough money so she didn't have to work. Which delighted her- this was luxury, not having to work at an outside job. I met them, in the 1960's. Yep, still in love... My gramma was a widow about 1940. She had to work. My father was still young; he had to work, got a dime an hour, to clean off old bricks to be reused- and he said he was glad to get it. My mother made 25c/hour, in a grocery store- she would get flour "from the bottom of the barrel", put it in a bag. My father made 25c/hour as a night watchman. He got into college, at the height of WW II... he wanted all the college he could get, before being drafted. He wasn't drafted. He finished high school in 3 years, and a 4 year degree in 2.5 years. Socialists want everything to be free. Great idea. Native americans had that system. But their tribal villages were deeply mutually supportive, and spiritual... Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels originated socialism... based on studies of the Iroquois... and they COMPLETELY MISSED the spiritual side of Native Americans, which is the foundation.. In a Dakota village, a prime cut of buffalo meat was put outside the tipi of a widow. Kind of like what happened in the small towns my parents grew up in- a widow known to not have much, would find groceries outside her door, from time to time, because that's just what you did, then. Women wanted to be equal to men. Cool. It's not so much fun, is it? Where are the female bricklayers, plumbers, roofers, etc? Even today's feminists have a plan, though- marry a top 5 percenter, because they are all 10's, even if they are 50 kilograms/110 lbs overweight. The "wage gap" exists- women are paid more than men, for the same work. In the military, women can do half what the men do, and get promoted timely. In Paul Revere's day, life expectancy was 43. First menstruation qualified a woman for marriage- you had to get moving, to have your kids early. VIsit a colonial house museum- we have some in my area- or even civil war era- people worked 6 days a week, often, at least 12 hrs/day. In the 1820's, they had DVD players- aka Shakespeare's plays. Alexis de Tocqueville noted this. American women in the 1950's had a life better than that of 70% of women worldwide. But they decided that women needed men like a fish needed a bicycle. No problem, get down to it, bicycles don't need the fish, either. I do not know any single men over say 35, who has any interest, at all, in a committed relationship with a woman. Single men over 40 that I know avoid women, as the massive risk they are. All that resentment, and false claims, and so on... Men are forced to assess risk. Relationships with women? "Achtung, minen" [Warning, active mine field]. Too many women seem to have completed their BSC degree. B*t Sh*t Crazy. I have never slept around. My first & second wife did play around... I cut them off. Not time for that BS, or for the MS- degree- More of the Same- or the PhD- Piled Higher and Deeper... Modern women are not making men walk away from dating, no no. They are making men RUN away from dating, at top speed, evading fire, and taking cover. Every now and then I speak w/teenagers, or young men in their 20's. They seem to have the idea that oh yes, prenuptial agreements stand up in court, they aren't the 50 meter target on the firing range- for women- the target nobody misses. When I was young, I got older guys, and even women, talking- to learn. I knew I was totally ignorant, and needed to learn. The veterans often had great wisdom, and were willing to share it, with someone who listened. The wedding stores in my area have all gone out of business... if that's not an indicator of issues, I don't know what is. There ARE no soulmates, any more than there is a Santa Claus, or Easter Bunny. There may be compatible ladies, guys, whose minds and hearts aren't totally toxic, but all relationships are imperfect. It's just the way our world is. We live in a world where: Body count is something to boast about. Milage on a car doesn't matter. Rain does not wet the ground. Fish fly a mile high over the ocean. Fast food is nutritious. Poisoning one's soul with hatred and resentment makes a woman far more attractive to the alpha male she wants. Adorning one's body with toxic cosmetics doesn't poison the liver and kidneys. Pouring out hatred and resentment on men makes them want women. Hallmark movies, Soap operas, romance movies, Disney heroines- are all documentaries of how the world works. Yes, Virginia, there really is a Santa Claus, and 20 years of throwing away your value absolutely gets you Mr. Big, just like it happened in Sex and the City, which is also a documentary. But let's make a comparison. Let's imagine a rabid Wolverine, so violent that it has to be caged in a cage made of logs. Would you risk your life, to be around such a creature? Maybe not. I don't play with poisonous snakes. When I was young, I was allowed to play with tiger kittens, but even then, I had no idea to be in the same space as adult tigers. Yes, lady, there are creepy people out there, and you are among them. The Romans used to line the Appian way with the bodies of crucified men, as an object lesson. Divorce courts perform the same function, in our society.

LOL!!! You just described my ex-wife!!! We lived together 16 years and married almost 16 years, about 4 months short. I went into it thinking we would work together, share our incomes to pay bills, and for entertainment. Less than a year later she had talked me into joining the US Army Reserves, I was a Cavalry Scout, and our first anniversary was spent with me getting ready for the Brigade Commanders Inspection at the end of Basic/Advanced Training. As the years went by, I went active duty, we had two boys, I went to Korea twice and deployed to Bosnia to put a stop to the Civil War. When I came home, I all but knew she had been cheating on me since she didn't want to go to any of the places she went when I was gone. I was put out on a Medical Discharge due to PTSD. She thought about herself only, did nothing to help me feel safe only belittled me, put me down, and finally after being home two years she spent the next two hours after I got home from a HIGH stress job in law enforcement, she told me what a lousy SOB of a husband I was, that she never really loved me, and that she wanted a divorce. I got dressed and left the house for the rest of the night. Now some, high on their horse, self-righteous people will not believe me, but this is the truth. I walked about half a mile in July afternoon temperatures in Arizona, i.e., 115-117 degrees F. I called a friend from work; she and I had never seen each other away from work until this day. I ended up at her house and talked for four hours and not ONCE did we ever mention fooling around, touch the other until about 10 PM. She went to turn off the CD player, I got up to tell her I had to leave since I was going to hear about me leaving this time instead of her. I touched her on the back, she spun around startled, threw her arms around me, we collapsed on the floor, and I knew where I needed to be. That was over 23 years ago. I got a divorce from my ex-wife and am now married to the best woman in the world. She has helped me with the symptoms from my PTSD, encouraged me in kart racing, and many more things. Since the age of 40 I have never been happier.

I think you hinted at it with number 9 and number 1, but one fustration I have found with women is that they offer really poor advice as it is based on making the other person feel better than it is about actually solving their problem. I think a lot of issues with modern women is that if they are identify an issue (not meeting the right men, relationships not lasting, etc), their friend groups will almost always say it was not their fault and they should just keep doing what they are doing even though it is clearly not working. This leads to them repeating the same mistakes and getting more bitter and fustrated that their lives aren't improving.

My ex didn’t take accountability either I was the problem and was forced to do all the changing.. took me a couple of years to work it out and I did everything I could to scalped myself into what I thought she wanted and needed but ultimately it was all for nothing.. unresolved childhood trauma trumps everything unfortunately..

Millions of western women are never going to get married and find a man - thus millions of men will be saved from these toxic creatures.

Thanks for speaking truth I listen to a lot of your talks I get a lot of comfort from hearing you I will not date on line after four years of trying. Most on line girls are there excepting money.

What an excellent summary on why the vast majority of that juice isn't worth the squeeze. Much empathy for average guys and the small number of superb women who actually bring something to the table other than just being present and female. Guys, there's no need to prejudge any woman. Take each as an individual and know that all the crap she just spoke of carries many red flags visible from a distance. Her social media is a great start.

You sound older. I am. For the younger: What he said is true with two qualifiers: 1) With experience, you will be better able to see the red flags early; however, they do know how to behave in the beginning and will slowly become themselves. So, always be watching for the red flags. You can slowly let your guard down. As they become more 'secure' in the relationship, the bad will come out. Put an end to the behavior or the relationship immediately. 2) Pre-judging is not productive; however, there is a Bell Curve. There is nothing wrong with assuming a base level of behavior, then watching for deviations (whether good or bad)
@randyduncan795 Жыл бұрын
@troydunn8463 Agreed. Time brings experience and that brings wisdom and discernment. Prejudging anyone could bring a costly miss of a great person. Failure to observe will cost in other ways

I just want to start with thank you for these videos. I came across them randomly about a year ago and helped me reflect on our relationship and how unbalanced it was with my wife. I made the choice to leave and im still in that early part of that but even though I know this will be hard it is better for me, and my children that their father feels healthier with his wellbeing then always feeling like he's living on egg shells for the rest of his life.

What I get from all of this is people need to grow up. Its like the 6th grade mentality was never grown past. Is this because of social media?? But....I'm old, 61. Been around a long time and have been in many relationships. Haven't dated in the "modern world" since 2007. So....my view is from a "past" standpoint. I've done the "career" and I'm now slowing down. I earned it. Yet, I'm stuck because I do not look like I'm 61, I look 40. So, most of the women in my age bracket cannot keep up and have health problems. I don't. Everything works, I wear the same size pants I wore when I was 30. Seriously. So...I'm stuck because "younger" women will NOT be interested in some "old guy" even though I'm not that age in body, only in experience. Its a rough spot I never saw coming.
