Whoa. 65. That is quiet old, to be listening to the likes of Eminem. ;-) I on the other hand, am a young, hip 63 year old, who discovered Eminem about four years ago. I was looking for a way of learning how to read Shakespeare's work, with the Iambic Pentameter that he wrote in. And though I kept trying, I just couldn't understand the rhythm of it from reading about it from a book. Sooooooo, I looked around and realized that Eminem rapped in a way that forced the rhythm of his words in an unnatural way, to serve the flow and sound of the music, while still making everything sound natural. Brilliant. Just brilliant. Anyway, I ended up repeatedly watching his movie, 8 Miles, the part at the end where there is the rap battle. And after about the 12th time, I was able to FINALLY read out loud, Shakespear's stuff in Iambic Pentameter. Hooray! I now own several Eminem's albums, and sing his 'Leaving Heaven' at least twice a week. Good stuff. P.S. Say hi to your dad from a fellow fan in America.
