Lessons of living and moral values were written in “story telling” form, in ancient times. As in fables. The only ancient writings that were in literal methodology was science and mathematical subjects. Per the ancient Greeks, Sumerians, Egyptian and all the original ancient scholars and philosophers. And different cultures interpreted rules and daily living under their cultural norms and traditions. Not to mention translated into so many different languages, some of which didn’t even have words that mean the same things or even existed for some things, there’s absolutely no way to define with certainty all the Bible passages. As our Priests taught in Greek Orthodox churches, it’s the message of Christ and The 10 Commandments that’s important. NOT the way too many denominations are trying to do. LITERAL. It’s a twisting of words. There’s many things that exist that are not mentioned in the Bible. I always say these zealots that are breaking many of the 10 Commandments WHILE claiming to be Christians will be really unhappy when judgement day for them comes.

Of course, it is just a story without any evidence that it actually happened. The police presence is because of the white guys shooting up churches. There is no video showing LGBTQ+ people harassing a church. No gay person has walked in to a church service and said hey come follow me and be gay. We are trying to celebrate pride without rude people harassing us. They are always welcome to hang out with us without trying to change us. Trust me, there are over a million church buildings with messages urging people in, we are aware of where to go for church services. Let people enjoy pride in peace.

Like he goes to a place when people (some of them might have religious trauma, been mistreated a lot by christians) embrace their sexuality/gender identity that was shunned. Then this dude comes and tells them that they're sinning and will go to hell if they don't repent. Then these people get mad at him, might even curse at him to leave them alone. Then the dude starts acting like the victim and pulls out a "LGBT IS OPRESSING CHRISTIANS!!!!" "If the world hates you, remember it hated me first".
