Well Hung, it’s a story telling song. The last two minutes are straight fire, pretty good chorus, and it’s a surprise sequel to Stan (for first time listeners). It’s not his best song ever, but I’d take this over 3AM, Headlights, and plenty other songs. For the record, I do believe 3AM and Headlights are also good songs.

Songs like this, were Em's therapy. They are his expression of the pain he was feeling due to the shit that was going on in his life at the time. He acted out his innermost fucked up thoughts and feelings, through these songs. The shit he would never actually do, but wanted to do because of his pain, he acted out in song form. This shit helped him get out all of that anger, hatred, and pain, in a creative way.

When Eminem is portraying a character he really gets into the bag. The contradictions are on purpose, he does that to show how psychotic he is. Another example is in “Stan” throughout. Whole song he calls Eminem “slim” not Marshall or Eminem but “slim” and that’s just to show that he can’t separate reality from a fictional character also, when he says: “But you coulda signed an autograph for Matthew That's my little brother, man, he's only six years old We waited in the blisterin' cold For you, for four hours, and you just said no That's pretty shitty, man, you're like his fuckin' idol He wants to be just like you, man, he likes you more than I do” Stan says that he is Eminem’s number 1 fan but at the same time he contradicts himself saying that his little brother likes him even more. Also when he talks about : “You know the song by Phil Collins, "In the Air of the Night" About that guy who coulda saved that other guy from drownin' But didn't, then Phil saw it all, then at a show he found him? That's kinda how this is: you coulda rescued me from drownin'” That is a myth, that’s a fake story but it just shows that Stan can’t really differentiate from reality. Eminem is just a genius.

So just to tie it all together for those who don't know, the ending of "Kim" where you hear him dragging the body into the trunk is basically the intro of "Bonnie and Clyde" where you hear him draggin a body. Then at the end of "Bonnie and Clyde" he references to Halie there are 2 more things he needs help with which presumably he is referencing the boyfriend and son that he killed in "Kim". So yea, this is a prequel.

Yeah but there's one thing than bothers me, like, didn't he leave Hailie at home? Yes it's not a song you casually put on or something like tha, more listen to it once just so you've heard it. And to put all you preferences aside and appreciate it for what it is, what it was ment to be. He just put a scenario on record, letting all his emotions come to him and acted it out on the mic. Plain and simple. Respect to you for seeing it like that, it's easy to think how people would shit all over it because it's raw, unpolished and fucking mental, but that wasn't the point. The point is to shock you and disgust you. You need to accept that to see the brilliance that's still behind it.

It’s stimulate. Not stimulation. I’m not sure baby and brainless belong on that list. Even phenomenal and Kings Never Die. But it is your list and I respect that. I’m just adding my unnecessary 2 cents. If it were up to me, I’d ask em to do the following 10. Castle & Arose 9. Seduction 8. Bad Husband 7. Stimulate 6. Headlights & Cleaning Out My Closet 5. Say Goodbye To Hollywood 4. Quitter 3. Hailies Song 2. We Ain’t 1. When I’m Gone

If you want song’s full of bars you gotta do eminem almost famous its a bar heavy song and a storytelling one. Its fire fire

Yes, I dont know who requested Kim, but it is not Ems best work.
@Drogas36534 жыл бұрын
@@yevgenij3869 in ur opinion, it's one of my favorite eminem songs. The raw emotion mixed with explicit storytelling makes it an instant classic
@yevgenij38694 жыл бұрын
@@Drogas3653 yes but it cannot compare with Bad guy, almost famous, my darling etc. This is something to react to. Kim is a special song, but not the best to react.

Steve speaking FACTS. These past couple years have been magical lol not to sound corny but it is magical seeing all these reactors learning about eminem. The youngers ones who have yet to learn about em, the older ones who either was a fan and fell off or the ones who slept on him, etc. And now fully understanding the GOAT that has been slaying the rap game for so long! I absolutely love seeing the black American community who for reasons didnt give eminem the chance but now doing so and realizing the GENIUS HE IS!. Eminem is hands down the GOAT. And people wont be able to deny is much longer... makes me think about what Snoop said... snoop mentioned many rappers he said was better then eminem. And some of those artists are GREAT. But NOT ONE of those rappers are revelent NOW. Those artists were big back then. And eminem was HUGE THEN AND HUGE NOW. How the hell did snoop miss that?!?!

It's like a horror movie in a song! The censored line is "There's a four year old little boy laying dead with a slit throat in your living room!" Also he says "Bleed"

It's like watching a movie. I always imagine how crazy it would be watching him making this song..
