Yeah true - to hype up the Marshall Mathers LP II. I thought the same thing. He didn't go back to the wack big ass clothes though, thank god lol. That would be a liiiiiittle bit out of style lol. And also, thank god he didn't go back to his 2005 lifestyle either bc he'd probably be dead by now considering he had OD'd already once before he got clean and was mixing Xanax/Valium with opiates which, if you don't know about drugs, are literally the two worst possible things to mix. Mixing anything w Xanax is dangerous, but w opiates it's a lethal combination, like you're lucky if you live through it even if you DO have a tolerance... If you don't have a tolerance though, forget it, it's a wrap. On a lighter note, I can never decide but if I had to... Chad James , lol u guys saying it wasnt in style when it kinda was for rappers, just, in those days, rappers actually came from the hood and had a tough life, they just dressed like how they did before they were famous, cause im not sure if ur aware of this but, when u live in the hood (and when u live in the hood its usually cause u cant really afford to live in a better area) u usually are broke or u just dont have a lot of money, so thats why people who live in the hood wear white T shirts and plain clothes-because they are broke, also, the clothes are usually baggy so they dont have to buy clothes more often so they just grow into the clothes, once the clothes fit them small, they get new baggy clothes ( obviously im talking about teens and kids- once ur in ur 20s u dont really grow) so when they grow up to be adults they just carry what they are used to, so back in those days- when rappers actually grew up in the hood and had a hard childhood (including eminem), they just kept wearing the same clothes, to show and express who they are. why u think drake and wayne get hated on all the time ( other than their bad music), cause they try to act ghetto when they are not, and thats the bad thing about wanna be's these days, ever since straight outta compton (the movie) came out, suburban rich kids try to act like they are from the hood when they are not, im not saying baggy clothes are the best style-and u can have ur own opinion, but he dresses like that for a reason, to show what he is-what he's been through-and that he's an OG and not a fake ass kid like wayne or drake

I remember during this era...while I loved Eminem I was missing the 2000-2006 Eminem. I can't believe I'm looking back at this and missing the 2009-2011 Eminem. I think in terms of being a mature Eminem and a more politically correct Eminem persona that I think can be relevant and appropriate for anytime period was the 2010-2011 Eminem. That was the best version of Eminem we got. sometimes I really wish Eminem didn't try to rehash a moment in time as he did with the 2013 MMLP2 ( a call back to the MMLP). I feel like that made him receive too much negativity that made him lose touch with himself.
