My dad unironically has a bathroom themed bathroom. The soap dispenser and toothbrush holder are 'his and hers' outhouses. The shower curtain has outhouses. Man, that's about $0.33 a bee. I remember when my grandparents had a carpenter bee infestation (an invasive bee in the south that bores into wood and can ruin foundations) and I was like "if Raid won't take them out you might just go for the pellet gun". We all laughed, and then it got quiet, and I was just like "well, maybe..." I went out there with the Daisy Red Rider we keep in the corner and let loose on them. I took out 42 bees in like 4 hours. Keep in mind these are like supersized bumble bees, so from about 30 feet they look a bit like house flies. It's a petty win but I still carry it with me.

Of course! The wall is sturdy and dependable. It protects your back from predators and dangers. Sleeping with your back to the wall is safe. The window is scary, and there is the evil world outside (and monkeys apparently according to that one feng Shui guy here on the platform). You must keep your eyes on it and beware of threats. You will be able to react quicker when facing the threat.

The bathroom themed bathroom. The shower curtain has a print of a bidet to make up for the lack of bidet in the actual bathroom. And also, to symbolize that you can clean your butt in the shower. The floor has a tile inlay in front of the tub to look like a bathmat, the actual bathmat matches. Unusable "guest" towels are painted on the wall below the hand towel rack. Actual towels are only hung when there are actual house guests. Ceramic wall decoration of a wire wall shelf of neatly folded bath towels.

I learned about truck nuts from Inside Job. I've spent a large portion of my adult life in Asia, so I was unaware of weird things like this. I also wasn't around when "Photograph" was overplayed and caused everyone to hate Nickelback, so I didn't fall into the hate cult they garnered. When I finally heard the real song (and not the many parodies I'd heard before) I actually quite a connection to the melancholy nostalgia. Thay "get into actual fight to the death to gain perspective" one is partially true. Regularly getting into controlled fights in like a martial arts stand point lets you reference some of the extremes of your body being in perril. You wont actually die but for those 10 seconds youre getting triangle choked it will feel like it. Afterwards you'll learn to control the panicy feelings even when someone is actively getting to a possition to break your shoulder. Its really helpful and i do advise it.

13:27 can confirm re: the black tip reef sharks. Snorkeled with them and some sting rays just a few weeks ago and yeah, they’re just little guys. About 4.5’-5.5’ and real non-confrontational. They just swim about. There were about five of them in the water with us. Honestly the most aggressive animal I came across on that trip was a real funny looking red fish that wanted the clam shell I had in my hand while I was scuba diving.

Ok, I know I'm a month late, BUT for the one potential person wondering about the snail abomination at 14:08, here we go: there is an Italian company callled Mondo TV that has made multiple cartoons based on popular IPs (without license as far as I know), one of them being The Legend Of Sleeping Beauty. One of the main characters is an anthropomorphic dog in knight armour who rides a giant snail, the character pictured in the post as far as I remember is the snail's wife. Some other notable characters include elemental spirits that look like superheroes, a talking pile of rocks, and an army of dinosaurs in knight armor that the aforementioned dog knight is the leader of.

Lol when I was in the psych ward I slept with my head at the foot of the bed and the staff and other patients all thought it was super weird. But I thought it was big brain, since they never turned the hallway light off and sleeping that way turned away from the door was the optimal position to block light with a pillow over my head.
