On that thing about how "Past generations will always have the people who refuse to accept new technologies." I once heard a story second-hand from someone on the internet, who said that they spoke to an old women one day; and at the end of their conversation, the old woman said "When I was your age, every adult told me "You shouldn't spend so much time reading. It'll hurt your eyes." So, don't always trust what adults say as fact." And I think about that a lot.

The creative writing one I understand, we were given an image prompt of a forest fire, most people wrote stuff about fire fighters I had about three pages of a guy caught in the middle of it slowly dying from a first person POV, described the smell of smoke, the raging heat, the searing Pain as the fire closed in around him, and eventually at the very end he died. Half the class was freaked out the other half thought it was cool and the teacher sent me to the guidance counselor shortly after giving me an A+ Shortly after this we had another prompt to write a poem using the AABA method, I wrote a poem about a medieval battle in which there was a man begging for his life at the feet of a man clad in black armor. The next stanza was then of course about him being decapitated.

When I was in 7th grade I had this English teacher that I really hated (and made it immensely clear to him at all times), so when the creative writing segment came around, I wrote a full back and front page about a man burning alive. The teacher's name was Greg, so I made the character's name Reg, in an extremely unsubtle bid to tell my teacher that I wanted him to die a slow painful death. In my defense, he was creepy, sexist, overly touchy to the female students, and would openly stare at me if I didn't have a hoodie and long pants on.

12:21 I had a moment like this in 1st grade in a special assembly where this super well-renown artist was making a visit and she would go through a tutorial on how to draw some stuff. When the assembly started, we were all handed some standard pencils and a paper and the artist specifically said that we didn't need to follow what she was doing if we didn't feel like it, as long as we didn't bother anyone else. So while everyone around me was struggling to pay attention and get the details right following this famous artist's drawing tutorial shown through the megaprojector in the middle of the assembly, I was happily drawing badly-proportioned Clone troopers and star destroyers fighting some non-descript tentacle monsters and forest fairies.

The article about the moomin plushie in the cafe is correct. The two characters in the different photos are from a show called “Moomin”(or moomin valley depending on who you ask) that aired in Finland with said character in the show called “The Moomins”. From what I’ve seen, the 1990 version is very nice and I’d recommend watching it. There’s also a 2019 remake and a movie but I’ve only seen clips from both so I can’t form an opinion on either. Atleast that’s what I know, if anyone spots any mistakes I’ve made or wants to add on is free to do so. strangest thing that has happened to me is when i was making dinner one day around 5 years ago, and a group of people that had just finished football practice suddenly burst in my front door and yelled "yo, where the food at? this bitch smelling GOOD!" and i just turned around confused, stared at a group of 15 teenagers staring at me and the food i was preparing while drooling. i decided to make enough for all of them. after about a week or so i was basically out of food because of this and i had yet to get my pay that month, so i was basically fucked regardles of what i did, but then the group of teens came by, knocked on my door and dropped of Five 15Liter containers with different food with a note that said "your cooking was amazing, and we felt bad for basically stealing your food with nothing in return for your work, so we gathered money to buy you replacement food pluss some extra." and i have never cried so much in my entire life. since then, i cook for them every year during summer when they have Football legues, and i am incredibly happy about it as it is super fun!

I am working towards a degree so I can teach creative writing/English at the college level and two pages of a squid dying in a forest would get an A+ and a gold star while “I’m in a new school and it’s CrAzY!” would get a D- and a “Try harder next time” written in red Sharpie so it bleeds through the paper obscuring some of their terrible, predictable, ennui inducing writing.

Ayo, that post about haunted house actors is accurate. I work as one, and oddly enough, as a werewolf. So I had this one family pass my scene (my area) with a little girl, o scared the mom and dad to death and made the girl cry, so I took my mask off and walked her to the end of my scene out of costume to reassure her 'its just made up' and 'the actors won't actually hurt you'
