The way you unthaw butter is you heat a non leaded glass cup and microwave it for 1 minute to 1.30 minutes and then stand the butter stick in its little end, then cover the glass over the butter and let sit 2 minutes. My take as to why there's always a bill to restrict online activities for kids is a bit different to what they like to claim is the reason. Speaking as an LGBT person, (Bi and trans specifically,) I, and most other people in this community that I know, figured out we weren't normal from being exposed to something LGBT online. I was worrying a lot about how I was told my body would change, but I had no idea being trans was an option until I happened upon a trans reddit read channel. Not even just LGBT people, because politicians don't care about us as much as they do winning the majority, I believe they just want to make sure kids are NEVER exposed to ANYTHING that might point kids in right-leaning environments from finding their way to self-understanding. They want to permanently keep that joke that homophobes and the like are the deepest in the closet of any of us. I hate this country and especially its politics 😮‍💨

I left twitter in april of 2023 (was only there about 2 years) because of just how painfully pessimistic and controversial every topic was. One of my biggest gripes was Elon who has a very twisted idea of what free speech is. His thought process is "I am a strong advocate for free speech. I am the embodiment of free speech of today's world. Therefore if you disagree with my opinions, you are against free speech" which is all bs. One of the biggest ideas of free speech is differing ideas. You are practicing free speech by being against elon. You are also practicing it by being for elon. Disagreeing with someone or not liking them doesn't mean you are against their values. It's like if I were to say (this isn't true, just using it as an example) "I'm a trans woman and if you disagree with my viewpoints on climate change, you're transphobic". Same thing as Elon sh!tting on "woke left media" for disagreeing with right wing ideas saying it's destroying free speech because he's right wing and a free speech absolutist (he's not) and therefore ideas that go against his are against free speech. They have nothing to do with each other. It's a fallacy. Twitter as a whole is basically examples of fallacies. I'm glad I left it. My life has gotten a lot better not worrying about what's happening there and I learned a valuble lesson on how to look for fallacies in writing.
